Daigoji Temple Sanhoin Toyotomi Hideyoshi hand-picked a famous spot for cherry blossom viewing! Daigoji Temple, a world heritage site located in Mount Daigo in Kyoto, has many buildings and art collections listed as Japanese national treasures. Byodo-in is a national treasure hall that is printed on Japan’s 10-yen coin! The Phoenix Hall of Byodo-in Temple was built by Fujiwara Yorimichi, who served as Kanpaku in the late Heian period.
