Qingdao, in China’s eastern Shandong province, is a port city of skyscrapers, parks and beaches bordering the Yellow Sea. Meanwhile, Qingdao Liuting International Airport is the main international airport serving the city of Qingdao in Shandong Province, China. It is about 31 km from the city centre and serves as a hub for Shandong Airlines and Qingdao Airlines as well as a focus city for Beijing Capital Airlines and China Eastern Airlines.
Qingdao belongs to the monsoon climate. The climate of downtown Qingdao has clear features of oceanic climate because it is adjusted directly by its oceanic environment and is influenced by southeast monsoon and ocean current. Four seasons are divided clear. August is the hottest month, not hot really with its average temperature of around 25 degrees centigrade. January is the coldest one, and its average temperate is -1.2 degrees centigrade. Generally speaking, the climate of Qingdao is very agreeable.
1. Zhanqiao Pier - Zhanqiao pier is at the southern shore of Qingdao off Zhongshan Road. Four hundred forty metres long strip stretched into the sea and was the first wharf. An octagonal pavilion called the Billowing Back and Forth Tower, loosely translated, stands at the end of the pier and was constructed in 1930.
2. May Fourth Square - May Fourth Square is a large public square in Qingdao's central business district. It is located between the new municipal government building and Fushan Bay and is composed of Shizhengting Square, the central square and the coastal park.
3. Mount Lao - Mount Lao or Laoshan is a mountain located near the East China Sea on the southeastern coastline of the Shandong Peninsula in China. The mountain is culturally significant due to its long affiliation with Taoism and is often regarded as one of the "cradles of Taoism".
