What a lovely location and quiet place to stay after a day in Cradle mountain NP. So close you can go in the park early before shuttle starts. There are few hotels available so we picked this one and are not disappointed. Price is on a high side but expected. Dinner need reservation if you want to be in the dining room but food is good. Breakfast buffet is superb with choices of both hot and cold. Unusual to have balsamic stir fry spinach and mushroom in addition to the usual. Nice to have Chia pudding and 2 types of yogurt and fresh fruits. The free laundry with detergents at the counter is unexpected and a plus. Only 2 washers and 2 dryers so you need to get in the queue and start asap when you get in. Overall very happy with the place.

Had a room facing the woods and valley - a great view. Very comfortable but a little chilly until we asked for a couple of extra heaters for our two rooms, which were brought straight away. The bar menu dinner and extensive breakfast buffet were both fine for us four vegetarians.

Clean and spacious room. Understandably expensive as there’s not many lodging options in the mountains. We cannot understand the need to limit wifi usage to 3GB though which can get quite frustrating when he limit is breached.
