Stayed for 4 nights in late May. Weather was great, warm, sunny. Views and hikes lovely. Walk 50 ft from our room to amazing snorkelling. On average saw 10-12 sea turtles per swim, plus rays reef sharks and loads of fish. Had economy suite which was fully equipped. Staff were great, food was affordable and nice. Short hike to nudey beach to break up the day. Highly recommend do your first snorkel at 8:30 before tour boat arrives from Cairn. Honestly snorkelling was never crowded. Highly recommend and would come back.

Amazing location and very good rooms. The restaurant was underwhelming and the staff were brusque, but the cafe around the corner is very friendly.

Our room was nextdoor to a very noisy party room. The occupants were drinking, playing loud music and making noise. Guests were arriving from other rooms. At 11 pm, we notified the front desk of the noise, which had begun around 9:30 pm. The front desk asked the guests in the noisy room to observe the hotel's noise policy and then left. The noise continued and at midnight we again notified the front desk, also asking for a change to another room. The front desk said that he could not give us another room because all other rooms were dirty. He asked the noisy room to be quiet. They responded by turning off the music, but otherwise continuing with their party and noise. Around 1 am, they finished. We do not believe the hotel staff handled this situation appropriately. If they were unwilling or able to quiet the room's occupants, they should have moved us to another room. They had ample time to clean another room.

Situated on an amazing island and in a beautiful national park; but resort looks a bit tired and in need of a good clean and spruce up. Beach cabin room was lovely right on the beach but no bedside lamps or low lighting. Main restaurant food was good but pricey; Foxy’s bar / casual eatery was great with awesome views - our fave spot. Overall a good experience in an amazing natural environment but could have been better with some small improvements.

We travelled as a family of four for a three-night stay and stayed in a two-bedroom suite. The rooms were not adjoining, but shared a private entrance, which worked well for us. The kitchenette was well equipped, with an oven, ceramic cooktop, toaster, large fridge/freezer and microwave, which was really useful. The island itself is absolutely stunning. The snorkelling was a highlight, with turtles, reef sharks and beautiful reef easily accessible. The summit hike was also amazing, although I’d only recommend it for children aged 8+ with good fitness levels. Unfortunately, the resort experience did not match the premium price. Rooms are only cleaned every three days, towels were not replaced, and we had to empty our own bins. Staff availability was limited, and when we requested extra items, it often felt like we were inconveniencing them. We did not eat in the main restaurant, but had dinner at Foxy’s Cafe. The food was hit and miss, and the customer service was disappointing. Staff were quick to explain what guests could not do, but rarely offered helpful solutions or much empathy. Overall, I would return for a day trip, but would not stay again. The island is beautiful and well worth visiting, but the resort charges premium prices without delivering a premium resort experience.

Disgusting conditions – this resort should not be operating at full price This resort is being advertised with photos and descriptions that do not reflect the current condition of the property. It is clearly well beyond a simple “maintenance period” and firmly in repair territory, yet premium prices are still being charged. Our room was dirty and poorly maintained with cracked floor tiles, mould, stained carpet, damaged doors, swollen cabinetry, dirty appliances, grimy cutlery drawers, partially used toiletries and bugs appearing in the bedding. The beds were uncomfortable, no proper quilts were provided, and housekeeping never serviced the room despite it being scheduled. The pool outside our room had visible green algae and the resort overall felt run down and neglected. Several advertised amenities were closed, including the turtle rehabilitation centre and kids club. Food quality was extremely poor despite high prices, and during dinner staff removed and dismantled our table while our child was still seated there because he was not ordering a meal, creating a very uncomfortable situation. In its current state this property feels less like an actual resort and more like a dingy motel that should be closed for major repairs.
