Great historic hotel in a convenient location. Lovely staff. Gorgeous heritage hotel nearly 200 years old and carefully maintained. Our bathroom was modern and tastefully renovated. The airconditioner was quiet. Beds were comfortable, split king. Linen and towels of good quality. Beautiful bar, atrium, foyer, tea room and confrence rooms. We didn't have a chance to eat in the dining room so unable to comment on food. Great central location.

Comfy well appointed room, decent wardrobe space, good bed. Air con was a little noisy so I was grateful of my earplugs. Curtains blocked out the light which was good. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was reasonable, not a massive selection but enough (didn’t like the juice)

The staff (particularly front desk) were fantastic and could not have done more to be helpful and entertaining. Our room (a superior one) was dark and did not have enough light either natural or lighting. The bathroom was great, modern but in the style of the hotel. The carpets were worn and didn’t give the best impression. Bar is popular early, but don’t expect a nightcap after 10 - even at weekends. Location is great and history is fascinating. Not sure it was worth over $300 a night excluding breakfast though.

Hadleys is a gorgeous old hotel but is starting to show a bit of wear and tear in the guest rooms. Nothing that would affect your stay, though. The front desk staff were lovely and very eager to help. The cleaners were a bit lax, doing the bare minimum. The bins were emptied and the towels replaces but they didn't replace mini bar items (which I'd have been charged for if I hadn't noticed) and they definitely didn't change the sheets. The staff in the bar weren't really on the ball. I ordered a tea but had to remind them then ask for milk and sugar to go with it. The hotel wasn't really accessible. There were steps at the main entrance and a disabled entrance with a lift but you needed to contact a staff member to operate the lift for you, so not really good for independent travel. No desk or space to eat in the hotel room.
