The floor of the room was uneven and the lift felt a little sketchy to get into. But it was a very old building and its beautiful. The family room was very spacious, though the bathroom was very small. Staff were very nice.

They had a lovely art exhibition at the time and also hosted a wedding but the hotel was undergoing renovations and our floor was being painted - there were fumes and drop sheets all over the floor as we were trying to get to our room. The room was cold - at no point during the booking process was I advised about the Renovations and no effort was made to reduce the rate for the inconvenience. I tried to park outside the hotel to check in after - 6 hour drive and was stopped by another guest saying she was saving it for her friend so they didn’t have to park on a metre - not the hotels fault but perhaps larger loading zone outside the hotel.

It was very quaint and beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the breakfast buffet was under resourced and the coffee machine was constantly out of stock. Also, the poor waitress was on her own and was not able to keep up with the demands of a full restaurant. More staff should be employed at peak times!

Hadleys from the moment you step through the front door is like stepping back into time or into an Agatha Christie novel. It has a feeling of mystery. The staff are friendly and helpful and it's a great location to explore the local area. It's not a negative but I believe this hotel is suited for couples and older people not families. Parking is provided but it's not fun with young children to walk to and back or navigate through the traffic to turn to it with a car. The rooms are older and have basic amenities including the tv. I would stay here again if I didn't have my children or a car.

Pleasant stay, quiet room with nicely updated bathroom. Enjoyed the beautiful old building with lovely bar and dining room. Climate control is really good for such an old building. Staff were very courteous and accommodating.

What a lovely hotel! It was like Downton Abbey in Hobart! The staff were all so happy and friendly, and the rooms and bathrooms were well renovated. Great facilities. Overall, a relaxing and very enjoyable experience.

Hadley's is always great its a charming hotel. It is perhaps a little overdue for an upgrade. The bathrooms could be better. I like to take a bath and the baths are too shallow. Apart from that lovely as always.
