Itz'ana is exceptional. The staff embodies the meaning of hospitality. From the reception desk, the wait staff, housekeeping; everyone was so nice and helpful. The GM is amazing, he has assembled a great staff. We are aready planning our trip back in February 2026. We love this place.

They have a wonderful pool that looks out over the beach, the beach was clean and free of debris.

While your resort was really lovely, our experience was ruined by your decision to host a large group of over 125 people without informing us in advance or providing alternative accommodations. We were told at check-in that we would be barred from using the outdoor eating areas for ALL meals while we were there. Bad enough but even the pool itself could not be used due to the large group taking it over and disturbing everyone with their loud and drunken behavior from early morning until very late at night. It felt like we were in the middle of a disgusting drunken fraternity party. The staff could do nothing about it and management never even tried and moreover said absolutely nothing to us or even apologize to us throughout our stay. Hosting a group like this certainly damaged your reputation but even worse not caring about the ten guests not part of the group will have a lasting negative impact. If management wants to host such a large group they should insist the group buys out the resort for the event and they should not be accepting reservations from other guests who would be severely impacted by the large group. This was a disgrace and we intend to post this online to make others aware.

Nice little place with a very friendly staff. The beach is great because the water isn’t deep for a nice lathe flat area, which makes it safe to swim.

Loved the shuttle option. The pool was beautiful along with the setting. The staff seemed to lack communication and although they were not very busy during our stay the breakfast service was slow but still nice. When we arrived we had to ask for the soap dispensers to get fixed since they weren't working but as soon as we asked they got repaired.

This is a beautiful hotel, and we had a pretty good stay, but it could have been way better. The staff: hit and miss, some staff members were very good, others barely ok The room: Nice large king room, very comfortable bed, only 2 towels (wish we had more), the AC was quiet but not powerful enough, we had it on the coldest setting and it was still quite warm in the room The pool: beautiful, but a bit on the cold side The restaurants & bar: Insanely overpriced, ridiculous wine selection: only 1 option for white wine which was mediocre but we were charged $14 USD for a glass. It's a nice hotel, but it's overpriced
