Helpful staff, clean rooms, great location away from the hubbub but right on a bus route to take you there.

Great location!

Good and convenient option

The hotel is in an excellent location. A quick walk to all restaurants and shops. The staff were very helpful. The lobby area has a cozy feel. The rooms were a bit tight. And because it’s dated there are not many plugs so when the whole family needs to plug in phones and other devices you have to be creative. But not that big of a deal. Beds are comfortable as well. The water pressure is pretty awful in the shower and there was some peeling drywall. The room was clean but we did notice that after day one they did not clean the coffee maker and there were never 4 shower size towels in the room. Please note there is NO AIR CONDITIONING!! Now we got lucky with weather that it wasn’t an issue but if it was humid out this would be an issue for sure. They provided a fan in the room which was good enough for our 3 night stay. The keg steakhouse is attached to this hotel which is super convenient also. All in all we loved Banff and this hotel was good for our family. We would stay here again.

Very nice lodge. We had 2 rooms and enjoyed the property. We were about a 10 min walk to where the shops and restaurants started in Banff. The staff was great. Room was very clean and met our needs.

This is a beautiful hotel! However, the room locks need to be updated. I had to visit the front desk seven times for a new key. Also, visitors should know there is no air-conditioning. We were inconvenienced by the smoky air from regional wildfires entering our room at night with the window screens. The staff and hot pool are excellent, and we will consider returning.

Room was good. Beware: no air conditioning in the room. It got to 78 F in the room. Opened windows to cool over night. No smart TV's either.

We had a great stay except for one thing. I don't think I've ever had poorer lighting in a hotel than in our room. There was no overhead lighting, just a few lamps. We had such trouble seeing. The lighting in the bathroom also was so poorly placed that I had to do my make-up in the window-sill. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay!

Nice and comfortable stay. Clean room. About 15-20 minutes slow walk to main tourist area (Wolf Street). Excellent staff, friendly and helpful. Great restaurant (Keg), try the Blackened Chicken or the Chicken Mushroom. Order breakfast from the menu, not the buffet (food not even warm!). Overall, highly recommended!

I love this hotel. The price is usually pretty reasonable, the spa is amazing, and I love the restaurant. The breakfast brunch is a must.

Amish at the front desk was very helpful in explaining the parking situations at the lakes. He helped us get onto a shuttle. Town shuttle very helpful.

The hotel was decent, but definitely not worth the high price. I understand that it’s high season, but the room was very warm, even with a fan.

This was an incredible property!! They were excellent about making sure to let me know my VIP benefit and exactly how to use it. The proximity to other places was perfect, and we had an amazing time. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you for such a great stay!! I will absolutely recommend to all and hope to return during ski season!

It was a bit run down and no aircon in the room, staff in the hotel were very pleasant

We arrived in Banff late due to travelling by bus from Vancouver. The reception staff were helpful and gave us free bus passes for the duration of our stay. The corridor our room was in was near the swimming pool smelled strongly of chlorine, but once we were in our room it wasn’t as bad. NOTE: This hotel does not have AC! Reception gave us a fan, but they don’t have enough for everyone! The beds were really comfortable and everything worked. We were unable to get any refreshments in the hotel on arrival (the bar closed at 11pm) We walked down to another hotel close by and bought some snacks from their vending area. On the morning we left we had breakfast in the restaurant and ordered from the menu. Service was prompt and the food was delicious and ample.
