Location is amazing, it is right across the bus stop and everything else like bars, restaurants, lifts are walking distance. Front desk was very friendly and helpful, check in and check out were seamless. The hotel has space to leave your bags after check out (for an additional cost) which is super convenient if you're planning on catching the bus later. The room was very clean and big, I had a balcony with the view of the village, super cute. I will definitely be returning!

Walking distance to skiing gondola. However, there was in incident happened when we stayed. There were loud drilling and nailing noise very close to our room at midnight, 4 am and 5 am. That loud noise woke us up several times. Not sure if it’s part of the property’s problem. It’s a problem for us to return to this property though.

It was clean only dishwasher had dirty glasses and cups when moved in. Only two towels even though we booked for 3 ppl. No service was provided tried to get some more towels in the morning and could not reach reception for 1hr after went down and no one was there. Had to go to pool and find some fresh towels there.

I tried to pay my last day parking at the fron desk twice. Did not get a clear explanation why not. I went down in the morning prior to skiing, nobody there. I wnet agaiin a half hour later noboday there. The manager got mad at me when I told him it would be nice have some service. The entire week, I got one change of towels. He blamed me for not answering my hotle phone, how could I , I was out skiing, He could have called my cell phone or left me a text message. Wow, not very good service from the weekend manager.

Avoid staying here at all cost. It is easily the worse hotels in Whistler that I stayed at - and I’ve stayed in hostels there! From the pile of garbage that greets you in the parking garage, to the dilapidated doors and hallways that Lead to the front desk/ the entire way in just gets worse. The front desk clerk was rude and appears as though they could care less about anything and especially you. I wrote them at check it and they have yet to respond. The room is beyond terrible and we payed for the king and double twin. It has not been upgraded since maybe the 1980s? Broken light switches, rust and mold in the bathroom, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, a tarp keeping rain out on the roof, I could go on and on. What is that smell in the hallway? To top it off - the beds have not been replaced in what I am guessing is more than ten years. There is literally a divot in the mattress where people sleep and springs to greet your back in the bottom. It is truly shocking how bad of an experience this was for an $800 per night room. I hope this review and pictures help our people in finding anywhere else to stay.

The man in the front was so unfriendly and disrespectful. Every guest was talking about him that he is Hitler. He was bothering all the guests with unneccesary questions. He stopped my children at 11 pm. He started a conversation about they are not allowed to leave the hotel past 12 and they should be sleeping. Its not his business where my children go. I had given them permission to get ice cream. Upon checkout, I confronted him about this. He started yelling and saying that i got a discount on my second room. He also said i should be grateful for that. He denied approaching my children Overall, the hotel is nice. But i will not be returning to this horrific customer service.

Lodge is completely fine. No problems with the property or accommodations. The manager however, was the most confrontational and difficult individual I have come across in hospitality. Argued with every single person in line to check in over any number of things while making sure to impose fees on every infraction all while reading you the riot act on how and why he will kick you out.

Poorly maintained and poorly managed. Hot water boiler failed on day two so whole hotel had no hot water for four days. Manager strung us along each day saying next day for sure, presumably so that we would not check out. No discount or compensation offered and manager argued when we asked for one. Not even a free hot chocolate when we came in off the slopes. Bare bones, no frills and clearly run on a shoestring by cheapskates. Grubby grout in the shower, grubby orange scum in shower curtain easily washed off in the machine if any care was taken. Dingy, dated decor. Rusting water fountain by the pool. Pool door lock not working and door sticking. Very poor value for a lot of money. Needs refurbishing and new management team. Awful. Please help us secure some compensation. We do not want an upgrade next time - we will never be going back and we want money back. US$10k for one week for two rooms is a lot of money. We should have at least 20% off for each of the four days without hot water.
