The bell staff was fantastic. The check-in staff not so much. We waiting 15 minutes while one staff was trying to solve another customer problem she never called for help. Finally another clerk came and checked us in. Then the room keys didn’t work. We had to get back in line to get new keys.

Stayed in the “Gold” section of the hotel. Breakfast and snacks were good and the honor worked well. Saturday morning was a busy cruise embarkation day, but the staff functioned well. Great location to tour Vancouver and it’s right across the street from the cruise ship terminal.

The hotel is to the Fairmont standard. First time I stayed in a room that seemed less equipped. No robe No laundry bag No coffee cups No tea bags All had to be called up. There is an expectation when staying at a hotel of this standard that all items will be in room. I think parking should be less charge when bringing your own car.

The carpet in our room was dirty, on one side of the bed there were finger nail clippings. Could have been they were short staffed. The staff was very nice at check in. We were paying a premium during our stay due to FIFA but it was disappointing

After visiting Fairmont whisler, Fairmont express in Victoria and waterfront. This was not meeting Fairmont expectations on my opinion. Bad service at the pool, food was ok. Hotel room, bathroom counter was dirty, we could see the glasses spots, etc Too expensive for the price

Perfect location on the waterfront and easy to navigate to other parts of the city. Breakfast in the restaurant on property was excellent. Concierge did an outstanding job with supporting our foodie tour of Vancouver.

Beautiful hotel - the gardens and the interiors are all beautiful! We had great weather while we were there over July 1 so we also experienced the great fireworks over the harbour . The staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed cocktails and light snacks when we first arrived from the ferry. The hotel is well situated as we took the city bus (#70) from the ferry and it stopped in front. We also took the bus #75 to visit Butchard Gardens ($6 round trip!) It is on a great street for shopping and many different restaurants. We found fun places to watch the FIFA World Cup games. The hotel has a beautiful high tea which was popular while we were there. It is also expensive. There is a lovely high tea at the Butchard Gardens which is less expensive. Our room was small - private as it is towards the back of the hotel. The bathroom was especially small with little room to move around. It was a small square shower stall across from the toilet. Most upsetting was an unexpected small ledge down from the bathroom to where the bed and sofa bed were. It was so sudden that caught me by surprise - even in daylight.
