What Guests Say About Their Stay

The property is wonderful! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The most amazing feature was the view from our room. We booked a Superior King and were delighted to find a loveseat situated in front of the huge wall of windows overlooking the falls. I initially wondered if I would regret spending so much on a room, but it was worth every penny. We actually spent the evening in, ordered room service, watched the Carolina Hurricanes game in the Stanley Cup finals all while enjoying the view of the illuminated falls and the fireworks. Simply perfect!

Paid over $700 a night for this stay, the rooms did not even have water bottles in them, we had to ask the front staff for water bottles. We booked a room with city view, the room faced the opposite side of Clifton Hill, we saw a dumpster and 2 trees from our room... very disappointing. Washrooms had no real amenities (no shower caps, no small sewing kits, things you would expect in a hotel charging that rate). Toilet paper was 1 ply as well. Would not stay again.

We booked this hotel on a recommendation to gain best experience and memory to visit the Falls as part of our son’s 21st birthday road trip. We booked a Junior suite meant to be on a high floor with a Falls view. The view was amazing and beautiful. However - we were put on 8th floor so could only see part of the Falls; there are 23 floors. When we asked we were told it’s because we booked with Expedia. - our suite was not made up for the 3rd bed; when we asked we were told we had to do it ourselves. And it was heavy - suite was set up for 2 not 3 people so we didn’t have enough towels. We rang down and none arrived Our main grumble is the poor customer service; ahead of arriving we contacted the hotel to ask for some recognition of his birthday and asked if any upgrades available. We never got a reply and nothing was done. I spoke to reception who said again the problem was with Expedia. I telephoned the hotel to speak to a manager and was cut off. I called again to ask if our 8th floor room was the correct one and told to email. I already had. When arriving back at hotel nothing had been done; spoke to reception who just said sorry. After some pushing they agreed to bring some wine; it arrived an hour later than Promised with no glasses. Poor check-in, poor customer service, a suite was an oversell. Not worth the money even with a stunning view. Very disappointed with Marriott
