I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Novotel Toronto Centre (on The Esplanade), and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel was clean, and the rooms were very comfortable. It provided the perfect relaxing environment after a long day of exploring downtown. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure everything was good, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. One of the highlights for me was the location. It is perfectly positioned to enjoy everything downtown Toronto has to offer. I felt completely safe and secure walking in the area, even in the evening. The food at the hotel was excellent—definitely worth trying if you stay here. Additionally, the parking situation was completely stress-free, which can be a rarity in the downtown core. Overall, it was a 5-star experience in every regard. I will absolutely be staying here again on my next trip to Toronto!

Great location close to the water and tons of restaurants and the St. Lawrence market. Would have been nice to be able to connect my laptop to the TV but couldn’t get that to work. But it was fine because I just watched soccer anyway.

The front desk staff at check in were not the most welcoming. Just give you the room key. And you have to put your own bags in the storage room if you need them to hold your bags at check out. The room itself was nice. The bathroom has been renovated. The towels are a bit worn and one had a stain on it, so did not use that one. Very basic coffee maker in the room with paper cups. Lots of slamming doors in the hallway. I think it is the style of the door and how it clicks when you close it but it is worse if the occupant lets it slam. Must have heard 15 slams in the afternoon alone.
