This was our second stay at Axel Guldsmeden. The ptoperty and staff are wonderful. We particularly enjoyed the quirky decor. Mosre importantly, the location is ideal.

The staff was super helpful when we needed help navigating the city. The room was small but spotless and utterly charming. The decor in the common areas was anything but cookie cutter. The soap, shampoo etc smelled amazing

We appreciated being so close to the train station. Despite that, it's in a quiet area. There are plenty of small coffee shops very nearby and we enjoyed trying different ones for breakfast. This was the 5th hotel of our trip (rest were in Norway) and it was the largest room we had which was nice because it was 2 friends sharing the room.

Hotel was great! The decor was so unique and inviting. Restaurant was delicious and the staff was amazing. I had a very early flight and they arranged my transportation and callled me in my room just to be sure i was up. 5 stars!

Hotel is centrally located, 5 minutes from train station and Tivoli Gardens. Weekend break was excellent albeit slightly marred with the experience through Expedia. Booked a room for 2 adults and 1 nine year old child and had this confirmed through Expedia. On arrival at hotel there was only a double bed and sofa available. Staff helpfully made up the sofa for my daughter but then insisted on charging an additional bed fee despite the confirmation from Expedia.. No response to several emails to Expedia which was disappointing. Unlikely to use them again and wouldn't recommend to a friend.

Excellent for guests who appreciate all organic. Charming place. Rooms a bit small but that’s Europe. My first room was on the top floor with great ambiance and view. I like hotel so much I extended my stay and moved to the room with small balcony and canopy bed and awesome stone bathtub. Buffet breakfast (extra charge) was a exquisite.
