A nice room which would have benefitted from better lighting. A lovely breakfast with plenty of choice of hot and cold dishes.

We were staying overnight before a cruise coach pick up. I didn't realize how early we would be picked up as we had booked breakfast. The staff kindly ensured we could get some take out cold breakfast and hot drinks as we were leaving before the breakfast opened. This was really helpful to us. It was so convenient to be able to leave the car there for a supplement.

Very impressed with the hotel experience. Everything was excellent, friendly staff, atmosphere, swimming pool. It was the first time when kids asked me to leave some tips in the restaurant :) thank you for a great time

Staff make this hotel especially the reception team and dining staff on the evening shift. Got a complimentary upgrade, which is always welcome, dining at the evening food was cooked fresh, hot, helpful staff no complaints. Hotel rooms were very comfy, bright on the riverside of the hotel, lovely toiletries. Will return on the back of how welcoming the staff were.

Breakfast was good selection, but no mugs. Asked once and they had already been taken by other guests before we could get one. Cold drinks were very disappointing. Kids pool was great with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna - amazing bonus. Evening food was fab. Kids eat free, this should be advertised more. Room was what it was described as and clean, tidy and comfortable. Would be nice if kids bedroom area was in a seperate area.

This was my second time staying here. And I have to say the first time (September '25) was great and I felt that I had found a good hotel that I can use regularly when I come visit my daughter in University. First time around 5 stars, staff food excellent This time around the staff were just down right rude and didn't care, one evening I had to get my key fob reset and it took almost 20 for this very rude gentleman to come from out the back to reset my card. The chef also has changed because the food we got and my steak was some of the worst ever and the fries I had with the steak were still uncooked inside not to mention that it also took an absolute age to get served, and in fact it took that long I had to go to the cashier at the till to give him my order. Also please people dont waste your time getting the meal included with your room its a waste of money, you have a separate food menu and theres nothing on it worth eating so as I done i just paid for the main menu meal. All things considered and I stay in hotels quite a lot I was glad to get checked out only to get home and receive 5 yes 5 parking tickets now they each came at separate times so when I got the fifth one I didn't care anymore I just felt you can have my money.... (the other 4 I sent to the hotel and they squashed them). But all that aside, the rooms were very nice and the hotel was quite modern too and the breakfast I would give it 2 stars.

Hotel was comfortable, room larger than expected & shown in photos. Rooms overlooking the car park can be a little noisy, and affected by the smell of smoke, but that is due to inconsiderate people rather than a hotel issue!

Overall a nice hotel although showing signs a wear and could do with a little freshening up (doors, etc)

Not bad, served its purpose as a base.

We stayed here just as a stop over and it was a very small and low double bed in a huge room. It wasnt the cleanest so I was glad I had slippers with me. Shower ceiling was too low for a 6'2 person so my partner had to crouch. The main parts of the hotel looked nice on arrival, but we didnt make use of it. Nice and quiet despite the location.

Very easy to find just off the M6. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food served in the bar/restaurant. Comfy bed and good size bathroom.

Breakfast especially the hot food has limited options and no changes during the 3 nights stay. The rooms could be better given that it is 4 stars rating.

Tired hotel, but convenient. Needs a good refurb in my opinion.
