Lovely building, rooms a bit tired. Not really convenient to pull up and drop passengers off. Wouldn’t stay again.

Amazing property. Room was very large and clean. Fantastic location.

Beautiful hotel, in a fabulous part of the city. We took the kids and it was perfect for all of us.

Great deal at an iconic hotel

Nice hotel right outside Oxford Road station. Staff were great, with a friendly welcome and a free glass of wine or a beer, just what was needed after a long trip to get there! Rooms were clean and spacious with tea, coffee, fresh milk and even a little chocolate bar in the room. The whole experience felt much more personal than the usual big brand hotel chains 👍

I recently stayed for one night at The Clocktower Hotel in Manchester with my Partner.Staff were welcoming throughout our stay, which I appreciated. However, I was very disappointed with the breakfast offering, especially considering this is advertised as a 5 star hotel. I have stayed in many 3 star, 4 star, and 5 star hotels, and the breakfast selection here was one of the most limited I have experienced. There was only sliced toast bread available, with no wider bread selection. There were also no cheese slices or cheese variety at all. In many 4 star hotels, it is common to find a selection such as cheddar, blue cheese, and other cheeses, but here there was only Philadelphia cream cheese spread. The cold meat selection was equally disappointing. There was only salami available, with no turkey, ham, smoked salmon, or other alternatives. For someone who does not eat bacon or sausages, there were very few options to choose from. What made the experience more frustrating was that I specifically asked a member of staff whether there was any cheese available. I was told that only Philadelphia spread was available. Later,I noticed other guests nearby being served poached eggs on what appeared to be fresh bread that was not available on the buffet. At no point was this offered as an option when I raised my concerns. I felt the service short because there was no attempt to suggest alternatives or accommodate my request for a Hotel of this standard.We had to eat out in a near shop.

Staff was warm, welcoming and helpful. A beautiful place in the heart of the city. Would stay here again.

Excellent, centrally located venue which was great for the conference I was attending at the convention centre. Near lots of amenities and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Fabulous weekend

This is a beautiful hotel, that delivers great service - everything just makes good sense. The warmth and friendliness from the staff you can tell they enjoy working here. Each bedroom is unique, love the attention to detail. Quiet at night and the decent black out curtains meant we sleep so well. Happy hour was a great touch. Keep up the great work. My new favourite hotel in Manchester.

Location was great convenient for the 02

A great location convenient to the city centre and the Oxford Street train station. Beautifully decorated in a heritage building. Spacious and comfortable bar and restaurant. Excellent staff.

Loved the suite and the heritage design that the hotel preserved throughout. We even enjoyed playing records on the record player. My only comment would be that the road noise was quite disruptive at times.

Can't fault this hotel very helpful and friendly staff, room clean and we enjoyed the social hour free wine what's not to like😃

Lovely hotel in a good location. Delicious cocktails in Refuge. Nice restaurant. Delicious breakfast. The "Tuck Box" in the bedroom was a nice touch. Lovely bedroom with nice amenities.

Staff were amazing but first of all the numbers and corridors to find your room is beyond ridiculous. Every single person is lost, it’s like a maze, I heard nearly every person asking for directions in all corridors. The room was comfortable but it’s very noisy in the mornings of doors slamming etc. Wouldn’t stay here again

An Amazing Stay at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester The hotel has amazing architecture and beautiful decor full of character and charm. Every aspect of our stay was excellent — from the food, room, bed, and washroom to the gym and dining experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the customer service was outstanding. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere made this one of the best hotel stays we’ve had.
