I chose this hotel for the AC as there were some crazy warm days in London but the hotel exceeded my expectations. Really comfortable, friendly staff, good location, strong shower, and the room was well designed. I highly recommend.

Good location and good gym. Online room photos make rooms look much nicer than they are. Rooms are nice, but NOT as nice as they appear online. Hotel is pricey, but suspect due to location? Shower is dangerous. It’s a bathtub / shower combo. Tub lip is up to my mid thigh. I’m almost too short to step in/out. When stepping out of shower the step up, out and down is so big I couldn’t do it without holding the shower bar or my husbands hand Tub was also slippery & got worse once you use the soap in the shower. The hair products also did not dispense well. There is only 1/2 a shower door & it’s at the end where the nozzles are. I couldn’t reach in to turn the water on without climbing in the tub. Then when doing so would get soaked in cold water before it warmed up. I would have my husband reach in to turn the water on & let it warm up before I would take the giant leap over the edge The shower set up in so many ways is an epic “fail”. My husband is 6 feet tall and it was a hassle for him too. Another issue for the shower…..the walls are frosted for the shower and when standing in the bedroom you could see the shadow of the person in the shower. This would be awful if sharing the room with someone, kids seeing mom or dad in the shower etc. Total lack of privacy. Other than shower good hotel stay.

When visiting London the Melia is our go to hotel. The staff are always friendly and helpful, check in is always smooth and the rooms are exactly as you would want them to be. Breakfast is fabulous with lots of choice.

Staff were fantastic with a very smooth check in and out process. Room was tidy and clean with air con which was perfect for the very hot weather. We didn’t have breakfast included and thought this was expensive at £20 a head, so we found other options locally which were more cost effective options. We also ate out-there’s so many options available. Hotel location was perfect, right next door to Regent’s Park - amazing and about 20mins walk to theatres and another 10mins or so to Covent Garden. Tube station within 5min walk so everything was really easy to get to and find. Great option for a London stay.

Lovely staff, very clean hotel, however the Twin room was a disappointment. The shower head was broken, one of the towels had faded stains on it, and a shelf was broken.
