Lovely hotel and so handy for the station opposite. I had a nice quiet room and I was delighted to have a bath as well as a shower. The decor was slightly dated but none the worse for that and I had everything I needed including plenty of storage space and a comfortable bed.. The staff were very pleasant and helpful

Overall we had a lovely time. The place is just looking a bit tired and old fashioned. The decor is a mishmash of themes with some questionable colour choices and looking a bit rough round the edges. However finding a hotel that accommodates dogs is fantastic and location is great. Staff are friendly and you can tell thy work hard.

Overall it was lovely, we had a nice time and to find a hotel that will accommodate dogs is fantastic. It’s just looking a bit old and tired. A bit scruffy around the edges and old fashioned. The decor is a bit of a mishmash of themes with some questionable colour choices. The staff were friendly and accommodating and you could tell they work hard. I think it has all the right attributes just maybe more attention to detail is needed.

The hotel was ok. BUT needs to have better heating. The indoor pool was open but staff kept leaving to door open to outdoor pool. And if somebody shut it they opened it again and made the indoor pool cold. Changing area was still being refurbished so had to walk back to room in wet swimwear. The lounge area was cold and stopped doing hot drinks by 22.00 Reception was good and staffed well. Evening meal was served well.
