The property: It’s showing its age, the rooms balcony screen door was broken wasn’t easy to open. The sliding door needs upgrading-very old. Our room main entrance the tile area is very old. Staff: Friendly and welcoming. However, one night our family was sitting at the bar and this fijian lady staff served fijian customers nicely-smiling. But when I asked her for dessert menu she was grumpy, rude and just walked away and had no smile on her face. She was not happy to serve us except her nationality guests only. I understand working in hospitality industry can be difficult at times but other staffs who may have had a long day but they still went out off their way to cater us! The indian guy at the egg station was the same, he was grumpy at all times, when I asked him few things from the menu - it seemed like he didn’t enjoyed his job, was very grumpy, had no smile on face and didn’t communicate at all. Made me feel like he was in a wrong industry! Breakfast: It’s average, it took them a while to restock food after it run out. Not much options, utensils and trays were old too. Some of the food had no seasoning and salt at all-which made it taste less. I think having more options for breakfast would be better. Cleanliness: When we walked into our it had a very bad odour as if the room was closed for a very long time. We stayed having allergy issues. The room was no cleaned well enough, the room bed side tables had dusts, the tv cabinet had dust that was very visible.

Novotel Nadi, was a good choice for me as I was just overnighting on my way out to the Islands. At the check in I was meet by a lovely and professional woman who checked me in promptly and gave me a good rundown of the facilities. The hotel room is a little tired but looked to have had a soft makeover at some point in the past with a good TV and new lamps. Dinner was served pretty quickly for a South Pacific hotel with a very nice local dish of Kakoda and followed up with a club sandwich with fries. The Bed in the room was comfortable, but the Aircon struggled, and the fan only had one speed and that was slow. Hopefully management can look at that at some point. Overall the hotel has some problems yes, but I found that the staff made up for the hotels shortcomings Would rate it a High 3.5 stars

I’ve never left a hotel review, but felt compelled after this experience. Positives: the staff here are truly warm and welcoming. Their friendliness is the highlight of this property. Unfortunately, the condition of the rooms does not reflect the quality of the staff. -The rooms are in desperate need of updating. Cracks in the bathroom sink and floor made the space look and feel dirty. -Ants were in the bathroom upon arrival. At first it seemed minor, but second night, they were on my bed. After waiting 10 minutes for someone to “look” at the issue, I finally requested and received a new room. -The second room had a better TV, showing that not all rooms are equal, but it lacked a luggage rack (bolted to the wall). Unfortunately, I woke up to a large roach near my bag the next morning. -Mold in the shower triggered a mild asthma attack. -More bugs appeared on my bed and nightstand the final night. -I also found loose hair on the bedding (not mine). -Breakfast could have been good, but everything was cold despite being in hot pans. -Towels were consistently an issue, with waits ranging from 15 minutes to an hour. Expedia gave a small credit and tried to get a refund from the hotel, but stopped after 24 hours. Overall, while the price may be lower than other options, the discomfort, bugs, and lack of cleanliness made the stay unpleasant. If you’re used to clean, comfortable accommodations, I would not recommend this property—the low cost simply isn’t worth it.

No smart Tv. Cave like atmosphere. Its was named Mocambo before. Since Novotel took over ,its a no vibe , no music and no smart tvs. No entertainment.

Check in to the hotel was smooth and relatively quick.... everything went downhill from there. I was told to get get pool towels from the front desk - after requesting multiple times over the course of 3 hours by walking to the front desk and being told towels would be delivered... finally towels arrived. staff suggested that I use the towels from our room. Next up - restaurant service... Limited menu selection was disappointing. The menu from lunch to dinner was basically the same. I ordered lunch to be delivered poolside. My colleague and I ordered at the same time - while her meal was delivered in reasonable time.... Upon she finished her lunch, mine had still not been delivered. I had to go back to the restaurant and chase down my lunch. Then came dinner time.... As we had a flight to catch, i figured 1.5 hours was sufficient to sit, order and eat our dinner and leave for the airport. After seating ourselves, and waiting 15 minutes to be noticed by the staff... finally went to the bar and told them we were ready to order. Server came: we ordered our drinks and meals immediately. Approx. 30 minutes later the server can to tell us that the dish we ordered was no longer available and the choose something else. Why were we not made aware of this at the time, or within minutes of ordering? And finally, checking out of the hotel we asked about the taxi service we booked at check-in, earlier that day, we found out had NOT been booked. Had to wait additional time for!

Super helpful and lovely staff. Breakfast choices was extensive and very nice. Dinner was delicious with good options too. Our room was little older but clean, with lovely bed and nice outlook. In-house day spa and masseuse was a very nice suprise. Late checkout was good, but then relaxing by the pool then massage while waiting for flights was even better.
