Really comfortable bed with premier linens, friendly reception and great location. We were even able to snag one of the 5 parking spots in front of the hotel!

Great suite, plenty of room to spread out, and a huge tub. Also the drying rack for towels/clothes was a great touch. I wish you could turn the AC on instead of the preselected heat, but opening the windows this time of year worked very well to get the room nice and cool. Close to the bus stop, not a far walk from the train station (a beautiful walk by the way especially if using the free fenicular) and there was a grocery store also very close.

We were lucky to get one of the free parking spaces in front of the hotel. The room was clean and a good size as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. However it felt damp. The hotel needs a major renovation to return it to 4 Star standard. Our complaint was the breakfast was not up to standard as the Croissants had not been refreshed and the rolls were hard.

The suite that I payed extra for was unacceptable. The smell of damp was so overpowering that we could not stay in it. It was also in the basement next to the cleaning and laundry. We were given a standard room but bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked It offered anything for inconvenience

Our room wasn’t ready at check in time. But they gave us a very large room, looking out over Place Gramont. It is in a good location and near to many restaurants. It is minutes on foot from Chateau de Pau. The hotel is very run down with different areas of worn out carpet. You can see that it used to be a much finer hotel. It needs a big renovation but good for them to keep going. They need to move the rating to 3 stars not 4.

Location is perfect! Lobby needs an update! Our room was large with a very large bathroom. Breakfast (extra charge) was okay at best…other hotels do it much better. Extremely limited onsite free parking (3or 4 spots but nearby parking which is a bit of a walk was 3 euros for the night. Overall, I would stay here again.

Perfect location near the Chateau, restaurants and town. Friendly and helpful staff. Old style but clean and comfortable. Great value for money. Good public car park 3 euros a day close to the hotel.

This hotel is right in theiddle of the old city centre so you can walk every where. We had a corner room with a sitting area, comfortable bed and two large windows that we opened for views and a wonderful breeze way through our room. No need for air conditioning! The staff was wonderful and welcoming, the hotel is charming, the breakfast was a little lacking. We came down at 9:00, breakfast is served until 10:00, and all the tables were occupied or dirty and breakfast items were no restocked so choices were limited. Besides breakfast, everything was wonderful!!
