Staff great. Room great. Beautiful hotel. Only one person working the late Saturday night bar was rude to me. Even though i just had a drink and meal in the restaurant she told me in order to sit outside I had to drink. I left after her rudeness.

Loved the hotel overall. Truly. But I have two major issues with it: 1. A "Double Classic Room" is not two double beds. The picture may show two beds in the room, but it is not. it means one queen bed for two people. Two beds is a different fee. This became incredibly awkward for my friend and I upon check in. 2. Even though there is a thermostat in the room, you are not allowed to use it. Therefore we were sweating like a sauna the entire time we were in the room. We begged them to help us make it cooler in the room and each staff person told us that we are not allowed to touch the thermostat and that they found the room "pleasant" and "enjoyable." It was even hotter in the hallway. The room was 25 degrees celsius (77 degrees farenheit) so we wound up having to keep opening the window throughout the night. As a result we came back to the States with the flu. Not the best way to end our trip. I would love to go back and stay there during better weather. Maybe in the spring?

Le 17 du mois de decembre , nous avons effectué un check-in à l’hôtel en tant que groupe pour un séjour de deux nuits, avec trois chambres réservées. Nous comprenons parfaitement la politique de l’établissement ainsi que les horaires de check-in, et nous sommes arrivés un peu en avance uniquement pour nous renseigner sur l’heure exacte d’accès aux chambres, car nous étions chargés de bagages et de documents personnels. Malheureusement, les réponses reçues à la réception ont été peu agréables et ont donné une impression de manque de professionnalisme. Par ailleurs, une préautorisation a été effectuée sur ma carte bancaire. Après avoir réglé l’intégralité du séjour, nous avons demandé un reçu, qui ne nous a pas été remis, ce que nous avons trouvé regrettable. L’hôtel est situé dans un quartier très bien organisé et bénéficie d’un excellent emplacement. Cependant, au vu du standing et du prix payé, certains détails en chambre, comme l’absence de minibar, sont surprenants pour un établissement de cette catégorie. Voyageant régulièrement et ayant séjourné dans de nombreux hôtels à travers le monde, cette expérience n’a malheureusement pas été satisfaisante pour moi, et je ne prévois pas de la renouveler.

I stayed six nights (Aug 2025) at the Hotel Château Frontenac and would recommend it if you want to stay in this location in Paris. The hallways and our room were immaculately clean (with daily turn down service) so compliments to the maid staff. Cold A/C too! We ate the breakfast buffet every morning to start our day and the food and variety of drinks were very good (thanks Lucius and staff). As with any Paris trip be prepared to walk, but we did use a variety of transportation including the metro / Uber. Thank you to the concierge for recommending taking an Uber to the Palace of Versailles since the Metro Station was closed there (I didn’t catch the gentleman‘s name, but that was a good tip). This hotel is not very large but for what it is, they’ve done a really good job maintaining the building. I felt the location was very safe to walk I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary that would make me feel uncomfortable. I’m sure you might read comments that the elevator is very narrow and slow, which it is, but I felt the other benefits I mentioned made up for it.
