Hôtel Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel

Staff not helpful. Requested refund, and exited finding another hotel. Waited for cold water in room which was confirmed to be available four times, to no avail on a 45 degree summer day. Provided an “all you can eat room upgrade” to find one item in mini bar offering. Room was smaller and no luxury elements, even with upgrade to the best suite. Room cleanliness was not to my standards.

I found that the pictures online were much better than in person. Personally, I felt catfished. Inside of the room, the carpet was dirty, and the view was terrible. There were no basic amenities like lotion, wash clothes, or even an iron and ironing board. Our toilet did not flush some of the time. The reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because it was super close to the Eiffel Tower, and the restaurant crew inside of the hotel were amazing. Plus, the food was amazing inside of the hotel. So if you’re just looking for a place to put your luggage and not a place of comfort it’s great for walking around. It’s just a five minute walk to the Eiffel Tower.

The hotel was nice the star of the stay was that the Eiffel Tower was right there as you pull up to the hotel. But the hotel itself wasn’t as it seems based on the pictures. The elevator was very confusing and I got stuck in it for a while. I had a good experience and the staff was very helpful but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

Love the place great location

The service was not good. Also had a security issue with someone else trying to open my door at night. The front desk help came late to check this issue.

The hotel is in a great location very close to the tower, restaurants, gift shops. The hotel is clean well maintained rooms are very small as typical for Europe. Disappointed they didn’t have coffee in the room other than instant coffee with a kettle They will charge you 3.50 euro for the tiniest cup of coffee you can imagine. Overall, good hotel for the location. I recommend it.

Lovely hotel! Amazing location, you walk out and can see the Eiffel Tower almost from bottom to top. Great bakeries and restaurants and amazing access to public transit

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. While the location is excellent and the price reflects that, I expected a much higher standard of service. During the heatwave, the refrigerator in my room was not working, which meant I couldn't even keep water cold. This was incredibly uncomfortable given the extreme temperatures. As a solo female traveller, the most concerning incident was when a staff member unlocked my room and entered without permission. When I asked why he had come in, he simply said "room service." I tried to explain in English that entering without knocking or waiting for permission was unacceptable, but he continued speaking only in French. The whole situation left me feeling extremely unsafe. In 17 years of solo travelling, I have never experienced anything like this. To make matters worse, only one of the hotel's three lifts was operational, resulting in extremely long queues and lengthy waits every time I needed to get to or from my room. It's unfortunate because the hotel has a prime location, but that alone cannot compensate for poor service, inadequate maintenance, and, most importantly, a lack of respect for guests' privacy and safety. I certainly would not stay here again.

We were a five minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, you could see the Eiffel Tower once you stepped out of the lobby. There were several cafés for us to choose from. It was a great location and affordable.

The rooms were clean, had AC and beds were comfy. The breakfast was well worth the price. It was the most delicious breakfast I’ve had at a hotel, plenty of variety and excellent quality. It was so fun to stay so close to the iconic Eiffel Tower. There were plenty of restaurants, bakeries and even a laundromat around. It was only a few minutes walk to the metro.

The room had a nice view of the Eiffel tower however the bathroom had an awful small of poop and vinegar that did not even leave the room after the staff came to clean the next day. I wasn’t sure if that was part of what they used to clean or what, but it was not tolerable. Otherwise honestly no other complaints. Would have given a better review if the smell hadn’t been there.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower, easy Uber pick up location, close taxi station, 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, shopping, and restaurants.

Great location for the Eiffel Tower

A/C was not cold, 2 of the 3 elevators not working, reception staff was not courteous, room was not cleaned until 5pm, room extremely small, and no complimentary water when it was hot outside. Would not stay here again.

Breakfast was very good. Elevators were a problem as at times they were not working. Beds were comfortable. Property was well maintained but due for some redecorating.
