Good location and friendly staff

Great hotel and good location, helpful staff and clean rooms with a great breakfast, would come back!

We like the location of this hotel and excellent breakfast choice. We did not like the TV set and its position. It is very old model and placed in front of the cosmetic mirror in the room. This position is on the right side of the bed instead of the empty wall in front of the bed. No point of having TV.

The room was very clean and well maintained, very small and a little bit old but nice enough. The breakfast a bit disappointing. The staff was excellent and the location is great.

Attentive and accomodating staff in all positions in the hotel. Assisted my son with higher speed internet so to work remotely. Also the food in roof top restaurant was delicious with a view of the Parthenon! Breakfast had a big variety to choose from. Convinient location close to sightseeing, shopping and transportation. Will definetly stay again!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Amalia! The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was a lot more food than expected and was delicious! The location is amazing because it is walking distance to everything. We are definitely going to stay at Amalia when we come back to Athens at the end of our trip because we loved it so much!

Great room. Not enough outlets to plug in items. Need wash cloths. Don’t like shower curtains. But room is comfy, bed is comfy.

The hotel location is excellent for the sites around Athens. Room was clean, beds comfortable. The Whispers rooftop restaurant was beautiful views and food great. Breakfast was also very good with lots of choices. Would stay here again.

Our stay at Amalia Hotel Athens was excellent, and we are especially grateful to the outstanding staff. During our trip from the United States to Athens, one of our checked bags was delayed due to airline mishandling and remained at Athens International Airport. Since we were scheduled to board a cruise the following day, it was critical that our luggage be located and delivered to the cruise terminal in time. Unfortunately, we had no contact information for the airport’s baggage service or the delivery company. The hotel front desk staff went above and beyond to help us. They patiently made multiple phone calls, tracked down where our luggage was being held, obtained the contact information for the delivery company, and helped coordinate the delivery. Thanks to their dedication and kindness, our “lost” luggage was successfully delivered to our cruise ship before departure. Their willingness to help turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a successful outcome, and we will always appreciate their exceptional service. Beyond the outstanding customer service, the hotel offered a great breakfast, a very clean and comfortable room, and an excellent location that made exploring Athens convenient. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens. The staff truly care about their guests and provide service that goes far beyond expectations. Thank you for making our stay—and our cruise vacation—such a success!
