Guests feel welcomed by the hotel team, who are ready to assist throughout their stay and provide a warm, personal feel. Its strategic location in Pecatu, just a 15-30 minute walk or easy drive to beaches like Dreamland Beach and the Uluwatu sunset area, makes it ideal for travelers looking to explore southern Bali without breaking the bank. While the property isn't luxurious, reviews indicate the rooms are clean and comfortable, especially for the price.

This is the most worth it villa for a long stay here. Very comfortable, the service is top notch, the staff is kind & very fast response. Got the room at the end, so it's a bit dark to get to the villa at night. The view to the villa is really nice because it's very close to GWK and looks at Jimbaran. The villa concept is very simple & really thinks about the convenience of guests when going from the pool to the toilet, the downside is that there are caterpillars every day so you have to be careful because there are lots of leaves on the edge of the pool. The kitchen can be used, just ask the staff to borrow cooking utensils, everything is provided, the room is also spacious & the AC is very cold in the middle of Bali's very hot weather. Overall, it's the best here. Oh yes, you can also order a floating breakfast for a total of 318k for 2 people, unfortunately the food choices are limited but the portion is enough to fill you up. So far, I'm not disappointed staying at this villa, why is this nice villa not many guests every day when it's very worth it!

Everything was good, I didn't even want to leave the villa. Stayed the whole day to take good pictures, enjoying the sea breeze, swimming pool, the food. Perfect for chilling down. And my villa was so close to the lobby, if I needed to rush I could just run.

Le Cliff Bali is a very unique hotel in Uluwatu. It's my first time staying at a hotel like this in Bali. The hotel room is located on a rock cliff so I get a very amazing view directly overlooking the Indian Ocean that stretches out before my eyes. Room cleanliness is quite well maintained.

A hotel with a beautiful view, everything is great. The food is delicious. But what's even more extraordinary is the way all the staff treats guests. Everyone is very friendly, with genuine smiles and a desire to provide excellent service. Hopefully, this will continue, because good and lasting service is a strong reason for every guest to want to stay at a hotel again.

Thank you very much for the excellent and pleasant service. The fast check-in and checkout process was assisted by Yuni and Sara. And we took the photo shoot package assisted by Julia, so we were very happy with the results of the photos. Not to forget the housekeeping team who were very patient in cleaning our room for 2 nights. The breakfast food was also varied, thank you to the kitchen team who worked hard. Once again we are very satisfied and happy to be able to vacation and stay at Anantara Hotel. To Yuni, Sara and Julia we convey our respects and gratitude. Thanks Anantara Hotel Bali.

I usually stay here for around 2 weeks at a time because I love the location. It’s super close to Dreamland Beach, and the nearby road is great for running. I’ve never had any problems during my stays. The hotel staff are wonderful, friendly, and attentive, and the food is really good too. Definitely recommend for this price!

More about hotels in Uluwatu

Discover Breathtaking Clifftop Hotels in Uluwatu

Uluwatu occupies the dramatic southern tip of Bali's Bukit Peninsula, where towering limestone cliffs plunge into the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. This spectacular setting has made Uluwatu one of the most coveted destinations in Bali, attracting Singaporean travellers who seek luxury, natural beauty, and a sense of exclusivity that is hard to find elsewhere on the island. From world-class clifftop resorts to intimate boutique villas, Uluwatu offers accommodation experiences that are truly extraordinary.

Traveloka provides Singaporean visitors with a comprehensive selection of Uluwatu hotels at competitive SGD prices. Whether you dream of waking up to panoramic ocean views from your private infinity pool or prefer a cosy villa nestled among tropical gardens, Uluwatu has a property that will exceed your expectations. The area is approximately 45 minutes to an hour's drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport, making it conveniently accessible for Singaporean travellers arriving on direct flights from Changi.

Why Uluwatu Is Bali's Most Spectacular Destination

Uluwatu's appeal centres on its raw, untamed beauty. Unlike the developed beach strips of Seminyak and Kuta, Uluwatu's coastline is defined by soaring cliffs, hidden coves, and secluded beaches accessible only by steep staircases carved into the rock face. This dramatic topography creates a sense of adventure and discovery that resonates deeply with travellers seeking something beyond the ordinary.

The iconic Uluwatu Temple, or Pura Luhur Uluwatu, is perched 70 metres above the sea on a narrow cliff edge, making it one of the most visually stunning temples in all of Bali. Dating back to the 11th century, this sea temple is one of six key temples believed to be Bali's spiritual pillars. Every evening at sunset, the temple forecourt hosts the mesmerising Kecak dance, a traditional Balinese performance featuring a chorus of over 50 men chanting in rhythmic unison while firelight flickers against the darkening sky. For Singaporean visitors, witnessing the Kecak dance at sunset is consistently rated as one of Bali's top cultural experiences.

The beaches of Uluwatu are among Bali's most beautiful and least crowded. Padang Padang Beach, made famous by the film Eat Pray Love, is a small but stunning stretch of white sand nestled between towering cliffs. The crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming and snorkelling, and the intimate setting creates an atmosphere of tropical seclusion. Other notable beaches include Bingin Beach, beloved by surfers for its consistent left-hand barrel, and Thomas Beach, a wider stretch ideal for sunbathing.

Types of Hotels in Uluwatu

Clifftop Luxury Resorts

Uluwatu is home to some of Bali's most prestigious clifftop resorts, where architecture and nature merge to create unforgettable experiences. These properties often feature dramatic cantilevered pools, glass-floored viewing platforms, and private cable cars descending to secluded beaches. Rates for premium clifftop resorts range from SGD 400 | SGD 1,500 per night, reflecting the exceptional quality and exclusivity of these properties.

Private Villas & Boutique Retreats

Private villa rentals are extremely popular in Uluwatu, particularly among groups of Singaporean friends celebrating special occasions. These villas typically feature private pools, open-air living areas, fully equipped kitchens, and dedicated staff including a personal butler and chef. Rates range from SGD 150 | SGD 500 per night, offering extraordinary value when shared among a group.

Mid-Range & Budget Options

While Uluwatu is known for luxury, more affordable accommodation options exist for budget-conscious Singaporean travellers. Guesthouses and smaller boutique properties away from the cliff edge offer comfortable rooms with modern amenities at rates starting from SGD 40 | SGD 150 per night. These properties may not have ocean views, but they provide a clean and comfortable base from which to explore Uluwatu's attractions.

Top Experiences Near Your Uluwatu Hotel

Sundays Beach Club is one of Uluwatu's most unique experiences. Accessible via a private inclinator that descends the cliff face, this exclusive beach club occupies a pristine cove with powdery white sand and crystal-clear water. Guests can kayak, paddleboard, or simply relax on sun loungers while sipping cocktails. The setting feels almost surreal, like a private beach on a deserted island, yet with all the amenities of a world-class venue.

Single Fin is another legendary Uluwatu venue, a multi-level bar and restaurant perched on the cliff edge above the famous Uluwatu surf break. On Sundays, the venue hosts its renowned Sunday Session, featuring live music, DJs, and a party atmosphere that attracts surfers and socialites alike. The views from Single Fin's cliff-edge terrace are simply staggering, making it one of the most photographed spots in Bali.

Surfing at Uluwatu is a world-class experience. The main Uluwatu break is accessed through a cave at the base of the cliffs and produces powerful, barrelling waves that attract professional surfers from around the globe. While the main break is for experienced surfers only, nearby beaches like Padang Padang offer gentler waves suitable for intermediate surfers. Several surf camps in the area cater to all skill levels.

For those seeking relaxation, many Uluwatu resorts and standalone spas offer cliff-edge spa treatments with panoramic ocean views. Imagine receiving a Balinese massage in an open-air pavilion while listening to the sound of waves crashing against the rocks below. These wellness experiences are priced affordably compared to equivalent treatments in Singapore, with full-body massages starting from SGD 25.

Best Time to Visit Uluwatu

Uluwatu's southern position on the Bukit Peninsula means it receives slightly less rainfall than other parts of Bali. The dry season from April to October is ideal, with clear skies, consistent surf, and comfortable temperatures. This is also the best time for sunset viewing at Uluwatu Temple and the beach clubs.

The wet season from November to March brings occasional rain, but Uluwatu's well-drained limestone terrain means the area recovers quickly after showers. Hotel rates during the wet season can drop by 25% to 45% on Traveloka, making it an attractive option for Singaporean travellers seeking value. The surf remains excellent throughout the year, with different breaks working best in different seasons.

Getting to & Around Uluwatu

From Ngurah Rai International Airport, Uluwatu is reached via a 45-minute to one-hour drive south through the Bukit Peninsula. Pre-arranged hotel transfers are the most convenient option, though ride-hailing services also cover the route. Within Uluwatu, a scooter rental at approximately SGD 5 | SGD 8 per day is the most practical way to explore, as the area is spread out and public transport is limited. Many resorts offer complimentary shuttle services to popular beaches and the temple.
