Ayu Lili Garden Hotel

The staff is not friendly, the pool is nice, the rooms don't match the photos, disappointed.

I actually stayed here for 12 days during a time when Kuta/Legian was very quiet due to the COVID-19 outbreak. It was quiet here because 2 days after I checked in, the hotel closed in observance of Stay At Home (COVID-19) guidelines. So the hotel was very quiet, with only a few hotel guests keeping to themselves for the most part and self-isolating in their rooms. As for the rooms, my first night I had booked a ‘fan only’ room, which I realized the next morning was just too hot. And I wanted a tv. So I upgraded to a room with A/C and a TV. The family that owns this hotel, (and a few other locations), asked me after my first night in the upgraded room, if I was going to stay or fly back to the USA. I told him I will stay and would like to arrange a deal if I stay at this hotel for 30 days, due to the virus and other hotel options dwindling at this time. He agreed. And so I stayed. But I had to change rooms yet again as the owner wanted the few of us guests there to be toward the back of the hotel, away from the street. But as days went by, complementary breakfast stopped being served as nearby stores were closed and couldn’t buy basic ingredients. They also couldn’t change the sheets because their laundry services were closed. They did sweep my room and replenish my hand soap and toilet paper. Plus, one of the front desk staff offered to have me stay in yet another room rather than change the sheets. I declined. I chose to leave after 12 days because the owner would be cutting non-essentials: tv, downgrade WiFi, etc. so I needed to find a place I could stay for a month or two that would not be closing down due to lack of guests. The rooms were fine. Spacious. TV was great. Pretty good WiFi reception. The few days I had breakfast, it was good. Hot water showers. No toiletries though. Comfy bed. Although I was a bit frustrated that the lighting over the bed was not very adequate. Difficult to see at night. The two young men that stayed in the property 24/7 while the few guests stayed there were great. Spoke English well. I also knew they wanted to go home. That’s the other reason I chose to leave. Everyone need to take care of themselves right now. Thank you for your hospitality.

The breakfast was very bad and the hotel clerk also did not give what was our right such as drinking water and changing towels as well as make up the room, Unless we were raw.

Nice swimming pool, big and nice room, got room service every morning.

A good deal with super reasonable price during peak season. There were no toiletries provided so you need to prepare for it. Super close with Kuta Beach like you just could walk while closing your eyes and suddenly arrived. The receptionist and service staff were kind however the breakfast was not compelling and limited.

This hotel is similar to a homestay per separate room incidentally the booked room is gone, there is air conditioning so the room only uses a fan. Of course the facilities are in accordance with the budget price, breakfast menu has been determined, very limited. The location far away from Kuta beach must walk or ride a motorbike. The road into the narrow car can only be 1 can not cross from the opposite direction. There is a small swimming pool, pretty for body work because the rooms are not air-conditioned. It just happened that there was an AC.

Cheap and strategic place near the center of the crowd and near the beach.

Quite satisfying, hopefully better still in its service and cleanliness.

During my vacation to Bali, I booked at Ayu Lily Garden because I have 2 times stay here before. Early September yesterday, I booked for Superior Room with breakfast. But when you get there the air conditioner in the room is not cold. I wait until 1 hour any air conditioner still not cold. I try to tell the receptionist but not cold as well after trying their same setting. The next day I spoke again with the receptionist and in the end I moved to the next room. It was the first time the air conditioner was cold and in my way. But not long after I try setting the temperature of his AC a little, the air conditioner again broken even though it was in the setting to 16 degrees. But not cold again. Just the same as the previous room. Finally I just ignore it because I was tired to move the room again. My advice to the hotel, please be more in maintenance again especially for air conditioning. Because surely visitors who have been active in bali and sun blowing sun, they would want to take a break in the room so can relax. For the swimming pool is good, but after I try to swim, my eyes are slightly sore afterwards. The chances of chlorine or its PH levels are too high. I do not think it's good for the skin. Finally I decided to just sit around the pool. For breakfast, the menu is actually just choose. There are 3 menu packages. I then chose toast egg, hot tea with fruit. But for hot tea, I think it's a bit strange if the water is salty. Possible influence of tap water in cooking. My advice to the hotel, better use aqua water. Overal everything is ok. The place is also strategically close to Kuta beach. Suggestions: *) Better to bring your own towels and soap. It is given a towel from them. But they will not give you new towels. Or clean the bed that you will stay after. For soap it's better to bring the reserve because they sometimes just fill up a little soap. *) If you want a message, better not already following the breakfast. Because the food is very early morning around Hotel Ayu Lily Garden. Many are also cheap. And if the calculated price for brekfast per person more or less the same if you buy outside.

Good, comfortable, nice swimming pool, there gazeboonya create leyeh0-leyeh, complete room facilities and fragrant.
