I was in Mamaka for a night on a short business trip. Arrived in Bali after a long day in the office, checked-in process was smooth and quick (all reservation and payment was already done from app), staff was very friendly and casual. After a long day you don't need all the formality. Mamaka also offer a welcome drink at roof-top which is open until midnight. Right next to lobby is the open style restaurant and they were having live groovy music night. Grab a quick drink from the bar and went straight to my room to complete my work. I had Summer Garden Terrace Queen room which is on the ground floor. Room is quite sizeable for a couple of person, like the ambiance, young, fresh and industrial. Not a typical hotel decoration, love it. Morning after, they serve ala-carte breakfast, I decided to have it take away. Overall, a total new and fun experience with Mamaka. Thanks!

Always make time to stay here whenever in Bali, great location at Sanur, many shops and cafes nearby, so cozy feel like home, rooms are spacious and clean, bed and pillow so comfortable, staff all polite and friendly. Please keep maintaining these standards, cleanliness is always number one, then friendly, respectful, polite staff, and Maison Aurellia have both 🥰

This location is right in front of Kuta Beach. Near beackwalk mall, mini mart, guardian, circle K and many restaurants. The hotel is quite new, so the bedroom, the facilities and the exterior still in its perfect condition. The hotel staffs are friendly, nice and very helpful. I asked for birthday decoration, card and cake as surprise for my husband birthday, and they provided them well. Their breakfasts are delicious, and their OPG coffee taste good. Great view from the rooftop cafe and the swimming pool. The laundry room is a plus point, but for less queue I suggest you use it in morning or noon. Will gladly stay here again, if I visit Bali in future. Thank you for the pleasant stay, Mamaka.

During my 5 days staying here, the hotel staff were quite responsive, the room cleaning service was very good because it was cleaned well every day, the hotel location is near the mall, there are several restaurants near the hotel and the hotel is directly opposite Kuta Beach (across the street), the rooftop view is very good, in my opinion it is highly recommended to stay at this hotel again.

I booked this hotel through Traveloka and paid IDR 1.6M for one night. After spending a week in Bali, we wanted our final night to be near the airport and in the Kuta area. Overall, things were fine—except for two major issues: 1. Extremely thin walls. I could clearly hear an Indian man talking from midnight until 5 a.m. I had to bang on the wall to make them stop because I couldn’t reach the reception. 2. Terrible communication system. There’s no phone in the room, and the receptionist didn’t properly explain how to sign in to the Mamaka app to message the hotel. They told us to scan a QR code in the room, but there wasn’t one. I even tried calling the hotel using the number listed on Google—no answer at all. Unbelievable. If you’re expecting a buffet breakfast, prepare to be disappointed. Breakfast includes only one dish from the menu, plus coffee, juice, and one muffin. For IDR 1.6M per night, it’s just not worth it. On a positive note, the rooftop pool area is fantastic—clean water with no chlorine smell, great lounging experience, and beautiful views of Kuta Beach. We spent the entire afternoon there. Would I stay here again? I’m honestly not sure. I’d have to reconsider. The thin wall is something to think of.

The hotel was uncomfortable, especially the bed which was very hard. Additionally, the curtains in the room were just sheer and didn't blackout, so during the morning and daytime, it was very bright (quite disturbing) and at night, it was visible from outside the window. Highly not recommended for those who need privacy and a comfortable rest. When we complained, the service was super slow. And that was what we regretted the most..

It is our second time to stay here, the location in Kuta is such a great deal with the price still affordable. Keep up the good work, Mamaka by Ovolo.

First experience staying at this hotel, strategic location right in front of the beach, close to Beachwalk Shopping Center, comfortable and clean rooms, very good service, breakfast is also delicious, a little suggestion is expected for the parking lot to be more clean but otherwise this hotel is highly recommended.
