This hotel very new and very clean with good location, very convenient 5 min drive to Gotemba outlet, many restaurant near by. Excellent service, love the hot spring. Will surely recommend to stay at this Hotel. Just love it!

Every time I find myself visiting Tokyo, I make sure I get the chance to see Mount Fuji and the default place to stay is Mars Garden Gotemba - strategically located to a bus station connecting the Premium Outlet, the golf courses and Tokyo City. It has always been a pleasure - you'll never make a mistake. A perfect for place to enjoy the mystical view of Mount Fuji while soaking in its quiet and relaxing onsen. I'll be back!

It is a nice property with a koi pond and a viewing room at the top floor to view Mount Fuji. Check in was great, female front desk staff was very friendly but after checked out it was not so great. I was surprised as throughout our whole trip of 10 days we did not come across a rude Japanese person. After we checked out, I requested to the male front desk staff to help call for a taxi and he did. When I asked how long it will take for the taxi to come, he said about 10 minutes and told us to wait outside the front entrance and after 10 minutes, I went back in to check with him if he can call again, instead he rudely told me to just wait outside for taxi. His body language says it all and he was mumbling in Japanese as I turned away. First off I was not rude, not sure why he reacted this way, does he not welcome foreigners?

This hotel was an older, but elegant, well kept hotel. The service was excellent from checking in to breakfast to housekeeping. The hotel seemed a little out of the way, but a free city bus to the outlets was close by. There was a beautiful garden onsite and both the Western breakfast and Japanese breakfast were delicious. The rooms were well apportioned and very large.

The staff were not helpful, and when asked for Sushi recommendations and sent us 20 minutes away to a low to medium quality place, whereas there were ample other restaurants nearby nearby. When asked to arrange a taxi for us, they stated that no taxis were available. They would not give us extra keys for the room, which is strange.

We recently stayed there with our kids and we lived the property! The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. Lots of things to do such as foot bath, public bath, koi pond and very close to the outlet mall. Can’t wait to stay again!
