What Guests Say About Their Stay

Dave

Family room was a good size for 4 and everything was great, including the bathroom! The only issue we encountered was the wifi inside our 2nd floor room not working the majority of our stay. It was so annoying when we required it. Spoke to the front desk about it, however we did not experience any improvement for the rest of our 5 night stay. Had to use up data from our eSIMs and the kids had to go hang out in the guest lounge for reliable wifi whenever we had downtime at the hotel. Would stay here again if the wifi issue is only specific to the room during this stay in.

Stayed in the Moderate room. Room felt smaller due to the large column near the beds. Great location close to a supermarket, train station and food options and bathroom was spacious. Only had 2 washers and dryers which were constantly in use and dryers took quite a while. For breakfast there was 3 sandwich options. Appreciated the guest lounge. Overall a good stay.

Service was great (even provided a complimentary loaner umbrella when it rained! Did not expect that). The room itself was alright, wanted a more traditionally Japanese style room and got that. But the biggest complaint was the bathroom being separated from the room. It was a weird setup having a sliding door (no lock) leading to a hallway, where the bathroom was a separate door from the room, where only the room had a card key. The bathroom was supposedly intentionally only for the room occupant to use, but there was nothing preventing someone else using it, or taking items left in there. Nothing happened thankfully, but I didn't feel safe leaving my toiletries in the separate bathroom, since it's only a traditional lock for when you're occupying that room. Room was also too warm for winter. Luckily I could turn off the thermostat so that was a negligable issue. The shared area was also very nice if I wanted to hang out there, or on the rooftop patio and appreciated both of those. But the separate bathroom setup is the biggest reason bringing my rating down.

Location is very convenient as it is right at a train station exit. We drove into town and parking was relatively easy to find near the hotel. Night time parking rate starts 19:00 or 20:00 for most paid parking. The rooms are clean but very small and we have trouble opening more than one luggage. Overall it is a good value hotel at a convenient location unless small Japanese room size concerns you.

We really liked the room and we did also like the separate bathroom. The room does feel small if you have a lot of luggage, it would have been great if the sliding door had a lock so we could have kept the suitcases in the hallway. The amenities are mostly on the ground floor (pjs, toothbrush & toothpaste, razor, vanity kit) but the room does have shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There’s no body lotion provided or loofah which is a shame. The staff were lovely and helped with our luggage forwarding. Check in was also easy at the automated kiosk. The guest lounge is beautiful and provides water and teas (I did not spot any coffee in the room or the lounge). You can also pick up a room spray from the lounge which they make in the hotel. The location was good. The metro was really close and you only need to go a few stops on it to get to the shopping and eating areas. The park is also really close and really lovely to walk around. If you want to be a little out of the tourist areas but with easy access to everything this is ideal.

Lovely space with friendly staff. The standard twin room is extremely small with no space to store items, aside from a few hangers.

Everything walking distance, a clean a quiet haven for us after a long day of exploring. Staff were wonderful and attentive and the cafe downstairs was a real plus.
