Very different unique almost resort like the staff was amazing serveral people to serve your needs at all times friendly the things i notice was very well maintain rooms very clean and the facilities was family oriented pool garden 24 room service which at 3 am was full service i would stay their again and again it wojkd be a great choice

We stayed here as the price was quite competitive and the pictures on Hotes.com made it look great both on the outside and on the inside. It looks like the hotel must have been an amazing property some 40 years ago and some parts of it still are. Today, it is an oasis surrounded by a depressed neighbourhood. One does not feel safe walking outside the hotel, even going to the corner store my wife felt unsafe. Luckily, little of the noise permeated down to the room. The room we got overlooked the beautiful garden with the pool. We loved the flowering trees and the palm trees that many birds (including some green ones that looked like perroquets) use as refuge. This, and other shared spaces (like the lobby and restaurant areas) are very nice. Unfortunately, the room itself wasn't all that great. Amongst other things, the door did not seal so the AC has to work extra hard. Worst of all, one could hear all the noises of the other guests and staff walking outside. Although there is lots and lots of water pressure and the rain shower head is great, the door to the shower did not keep all the water in, the toilet seat was crooked. Also, although it is supposed to be a smoke free property, we could smell the cigarette smoke coming from somewhere (could be the door or it could be the ventilation system) every so often. Staff were very pleasant and efficient. Thanks to you all.

I tried to contact hotels to let you know the awafull experience, the checking was at 3 pm, I arrived 3:40 pm , no room available and my reservation was room with garden , they offer me another room and the told me it was an upgrade , awaful room with a view to the ceiking , also guesss next door tv on laud at 2:30 am, guess next room , 7 am with loud sex awful expericee for my ten aged ceiling , only guess next door 2:30 am with

Cuarto limpio, el elevador hacia mi habitación no trabaja, 7 piso, hay que tomar el ascensor hasta el piso 6 y de subir o bajar un piso. Staff y amenities muy bien, el restaurante más o menos la comida. Un detalle, al hacer el check out , me olvidé una pertenencia en la habitación, reporte a recepción hasta ahora sigo esperando respuesta!

The front desk forgot to return my passport when I checked in. I did not realized it until I was at the airport heading back home. It would have been nice if the front desk would have adviced me before my departure.

Staff very courteous and always a good stay at Safi Hotel.

i reserved a junior suite that was listed on hotels.com room description as having a separate bedroom and private restroom with a sofa bed. I got a double queen bed room with a sofa bed. I contacted the front desk and was told this was what their junior suite was and any issues need to be addressed with hotels.com not them.
