Stayed in a garden room, it was larger than expected. Bathroom was clean and good size shower. Location is fantastic next to Vondlpark and close to some great neighborhoods.

I stayed in a small single room (possibly the smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in - it was tiny!!), but it was clean, quiet and had a large window and lovely view. Everything I needed for a short stay! The staff was very friendly and stored my luggage for several hours since my room wasn’t ready when I arrived, which was great. There was a maze of steep stairs to get to the room, so not a great option if you have a ton of luggage or for anyone with mobility issues. The location is great just across the street from tram stops so very accessible to Amsterdam Centraal and the airport, and located near good restaurants, attractions, Vondelpark, etc. This was my second time staying there and would definitely stay again.

The room was clean and modern and the amenities were fine. However the service provided was sub par. Running out of toilet roll, and soap. One day we had no housekeeping at all. On that particular day we’d ran out of shower soap and when it was replaced house keeping would have had to step over dirty towels to replace it and just left them as they were! We had to ask for fresh towels. Some towels also had hair balls on unfortunately.

Walking down the tiny stairs is risky! Would not recommend though everything is close by so if you dont have an extra bag to drag its fine!

The room was fairly clean but the room and corridor did not look like it had been vacuumed properly when we arrived. We had a difficult situation where neither of us could sleep because of the sound of a tumble drier at 2am. We went to speak to reception about it and they were quite rude, they agreed to switch it off. We spoke to reception again the next day and they said it wouldn't happen again, but we weren't given anything as an apology. Reception was often not attended although it says 24/7 reception and they were often watching videos etc. and not particularly helpful. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable and the blackout curtains were effective and the air con in the room nice and strong.

We had a room on the 4th floor and it was quite small with small windows. We managed to peak in other rooms which overlooked the garden so felt we weren’t in the best room. The reception staff were really helpful and friendly.

My only suggestion would be to improve the signage from the street to make the hotel easier to find. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

Loved this hotel. Helpful and friendly staff, great A/C in the room during a heatwave and very central with multiple streetcar lines nearby.

First time to Amsterdam and I licked the perfect hotel stay in my opinion to be so close to most everything but far enough away from the crazy tourist areas…. I walked everywhere in under 30 for longest attraction. And everyday able to quickly pop back to hotel at nap and refresh. The staff were so great! And courtyard was so relaxing. Only negative was that I could hear anyone upstairs walking as it is an older building. I would wake up most nights to loud walking above me or sounded like running which was frustrating.
