Novotel Lisboa

What a terrible experience. When we arrived the AC had a terrible noise, I went down and asked for another room, I was told I had to wait for maintenance to check it, after one hour I asked for the manage and the front desk persons were so rude, finally the manager gave us another room, very small, the bathroom smell terrible. We went to the restaurant and moved one chair since we were 4 and we were told we couldn’t move the chair!! For breakfast even they have plenty room for big tables, they gave us 2 tables, I have kids I need to feed them!!! Please don’t stay there and is far from Restaurants and stores

We chose this property for our last night in Lisbon to be closer to the airport. The hotel is being renovated, so some areas are under construction. The room was clean and updated, however they have a centralized building air conditioning system, so we could not control out room temperature. The room was quite warm, we were sweating. they sent a tech to try to see what the problem was, which helped maybe a degree or so, but not enough to make it cool. Otherwise the hotel restaurant provided excellent food, the staff was amazing, and restaurants around the area were also great. Hotel pool came in handy to help cool us down.

Good location for a quick stay before needing to get to the airport. (10 min walk to get the Red line to the airport.) The room was exactly as shown; even was a little bit larger than expected. Very clean. Staff was very helpful. (The first room we were assigned had a cigarette smell, so we asked to be moved to another room. Even though we needed a 'family suite" they graciously switched us immediately.) The pool area out back is very large and inviting - and large! Also, there is a spacious sitting area at the -1 level for a family or small group to spread out and relax.

Every in the hotel were great until we got tho bed, the mattress or the pillows had a little bit of smell, I think because the AC is no the best, really work more like a fan than AC.

The hotel was great. Rooms were nice! Parking in the garage can be narrow and awkward but drive slow and cautiously and you are fine.

Cat fished by photos. Photos are all of the refurb which is not what you get when you get there. No proper bar no proper restaurant

The hotel was under renovation and the entrance and lobby were really in a bad shape! The rooms supposedly renovated were not comparable to same level hotels. The bedding was clean at least.

Excellent place for a short stay with family!

Location is a bit awkward, 15 minute walk to subway. 10 minute walk to a.small.market, and very few restaurants in the area. But hotel is a good value for a.nice room. One.of the hop on bases has a bus stop near the hotel, but an infrequent line, bus only comes about 4 times a day.

Staff was friendly. Hotel is under construction. A construction worker accidentally opened our hotel room. They should knock and check the proper room number before using the master key to open

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the location is great.

Pool was dirty . Room air conditioning is not working . Lobby staff is not friendly … overall , totally not a 4 stars hotel .

We only stayed one night, as we needed to catch an early flight the next morning. Unfortunately, the hotel is currently in very poor condition and does not feel like a 4-star property. It appears to be undergoing renovations, and the front desk is temporarily located on the B1 level. The lobby couches were very dirty, with many visible stains. I strongly advise against dining at the hotel restaurant. The menu offers very limited options We ordered cod and chicken with a Caesar salad. The rice served with the cod was extremely salty, and we had to ask the waitress to take it back. They later offered plain white rice instead. The chicken was very dry, and the portions were surprisingly small (overpriced!). It’s disappointing that such simple dishes could be poorly executed. Additionally, the parking machine was not working, so we had to go to the front desk to make the payment. Overall, we do not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

Property in under a massive renovation job and that is very unpleasant for the guests. Didn't see that mentioned on the expedia profile. That would be a red flag to book and would have booked another hotel. AC Works very badly and had to change room to chase a reasonable AC that would work ok but never really did a reasonable job.
