Lovely reception staff. However, our key fobs were working part time. We had to go to the reception about 4 times in 4 days, to change them, as they weren't working after a few hours. No soundproof, so, very loud noise can be heard easily from the street and the neighbours rooms. Not too many facilities in the hotel. Housekeepers are too loud in the morning next to the door of the room. No ventilation in the toilet either. Nice city thought.

The hotel's location is good, and that's all there is that is good. Also, there are plenty other hotels with good locations that are better and cheaper in Alicante. Hotel is tired, staff are unfriendly, even the shower is over the bath, like the 70's!! Needs a serious refresh.

It was quiet & safe but the Room Service is only on the week days and only in the evening which was disappointing because I booked it because of the Room Service.

Well located. Staff was very helpful during the blackout Spain experienced in April 2025.

Our room had no toolet paper and was provided with a single towel and that was a hand towel. Lighting was supplied by 3 lamps and one had its bulb burned out. The next morning I had to take a cold shower because the hot water was not getting to the room and the responsible technician did not arrive until 10. There was no enclosure for the shower so the whole bathroom floor got wet after each shower.

Would prefer separate shower rather than over the bath.When we arrived we were told the bar an restaurant were to be close3d at weekend ,not good since I had booked not knowing this information .

Great hotel great location. Stayed here several times.

First, the room smelled. As soon as I walked in, it smelled stale like it had been sealed up for 6 months. I had to open the window to air it out. The shower was awful. You needed a pole vault to get into the bathtub. Once in the shower you could barely move between the glass partition and the metal soap dish/hand bar. It was so tight you could barely lift your arms over your head. The water temperature was a nightmare. You would get it to the temperature that was comfortable and then all of a sudden it would be scolding hot, and you would jump away. It was one of those sliding handheld ones too and it didn't stay in place. Totally annoying. The water pressure was quite low, so it took forever to wash off any soap. The floor in the room was a laminate wood and was scratched and coming up in different places. No one was in the room next to me until the last night. Whoever stayed there came in around 1am and it sounded like they were walking a horse around the room. The hotel is on a busy street and on the one side, where my room was an alleyway where people would hang out at 1 & 2am drunk and the noise would echo through the alleyway off the buildings. The last night between doors slamming, the person walking the horse in the next room and the loud alleyway noise, I got maybe 2 hours sleep. The location was good, and the staff was nice so that was a plus. I would have to say based on the negative things I mentioned, I doubt I will stay there again.

Hotel is in a great location for exploring the city and for getting to the beach . The Hotel was lovely and clean , all the staff we met were friendly and helpful . Breakfast was great , as were the rooms . I will definitely book this hotel again and would recommend it to others

A very nice hotel, situated very convenient for walking, shopping, dining of going to the beach. Very good isolated (you do not hear noise from the street). A very friendly and helpful staff. The only thing i missed is a coffie/tea facilities in my room (but may be it's no so important for everyone). Loved my stay in Alicante!

On arrival, staff were very polite and officiant. room was clean, tidy and very spacious and extremely comfortable beds. Great viariety/quality of breakfast in the mornings. would definetely stay here again!

Very nice hotel centrally located and opposite the fascinating market. The bus from the airport stops right across the road which is really useful. Could not control the heating/air conditioning in the room, so had to have the window open all night which meant I could hear the street noise and neighbours talking until the early hours.

Easy drive from the airport. Very central. Lovely staff, breakfast, bar 😊

VERY GOOD LOCATION AND NICE HOTEL

This hotel is in a prime location, with everything within walking distance in downtown Alicante and easy access to public transportation for visiting nearby towns.

Fifth time we have stayed at The Lucentum. The staff on reception, in the dining room and housekeepers have been excellent - helpful and welcoming. The airport C6 bus drops off and picks up at the bus stop opposite the hotel which is so convenient. The hotel is located in the heart of the city and is very central for shopping, museums and beach which is just 10/15 minutes walk away. Surrounded by many choices for eating out.

Absolutely lovely staff . Girl called Andrea was amazing . She really helped us get my husbands bag back after gd left it on the bus .
