The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean. I did not add breakfast but there was a bakery on the block that had wonderful breakfast. There was a laundry bar across the street from the hotel.

The property and staff were great. I will strongly recommend to double check your dates before making a reservation because even if you realize the mistake the next day... you won't get your money back. So highly recommend the hotel and staff but the company making decisions has no heart.

This hotel was very clean. It was it was in walking distance to many areas of interest. The only negative was the bed was not very comfortable to me however after a 10 hr flight it is possible nothing would have been. Overall I think this was an excellent value for the price!

I really enjoyed the location of the hotel. It’s very centralized and easy to walk to a lot of sites. The staff was very polite. But the big downfall for me was the walls are paper thin. I heard every mumble, step, sneeze, and conversation from my hallway neighbors and the people outside. Not the worst but also not ideal all the time.

The hotel and room are old but cleaningness is acceptable. There is a luggage locker for storing luggage, but need to put a $2 euro as deposit. The environment near hotel is dirty to me, but walkable distance to Sagrada familia

It’s a simple hotel. If you just need a place to stay in after a long day of touring the city and you don’t really care about luxurious amenities then this hotel would be fine. Check in and check out was easy, they do charge a tax upping check in but it was less then 50$ USD .the room is small and not bad for one person. There’s a few tapas and super markets in walking distance. The city center is about a 20’mins walking and traveling to anywhere in the city is easy with the unlimited options of transportation. I am sad to be leaving Barcelona but it was a wonderful stay.

The staff was super friendly and able to assist us with calling taxis and wven storing our luggage prior to checking in so we could do some sightseeing. We had a street side room, it was great waking up to the smell of freshly baking bread!!!

Stayed at Hotel Best Aranea and overall had a decent experience mainly because of its convenient location. The hotel is in a safe and quiet area, and it’s very walkable to major attractions like Sagrada Família, which is about a 10-minute walk away. It is also close to metro stations and bus stops, making it easy to get around Barcelona. The front desk staff were professional, but they were not particularly friendly or very helpful compared to other hotels. Breakfast was a positive highlight with a good variety of options, including pastries, fruits, eggs, and other buffet items. The room was clean but not very spacious, which might be expected in many European hotels. One disappointment was that we requested a queen bed but were given twin beds, and the hotel did not really try to accommodate the request. Overall, it’s a good choice if you want a safe, well-located hotel with decent breakfast, but the small room size and lack of flexibility with bed requests were drawbacks.
