Hotel Glories

During our whole week stay there was no air conditioning as it was not working. We got no updates on when it was going to be fixed and was supposed to be fixed a few days into our stay. The only compensation they gave was minibar service which was basically just a few free sodas a day, which was kind of a joke. Our room was an absolute sauna despite having two fans. Additionally, our toilet stopped working and they just gave us keys to another room after repeatedly asking for help. Although there was still no AC this other room was totally cooler, which made us feel even worse. Overall, they did not do much to take responsibility and keep us updated on the situation and the no AC was terrible.

Clean great breakfast and location!

Good comfy spot in a great l9cation, very close to several train and tram spots and a short walk to Sagrada Familia. My only issue during my stay was the ac was being repaired. They inf9rmed Hotels.com, but hotels.com did not relay the info. The weather was not hot dur8ng my stay and the ac was repaired so it wss not a big problem

A/C was not working, only got notified by the hotel when I paid through expedia. When booking through expedia, selected double room with 1 double bed or 2 single bed, however expedia did not have the option to choose from, therefore upon check-in Hotel staff gave us 2 single bed as a coulple, and even they were not happy with expedia and said they always had problems with customers booking through expedia, and this was from the reception manager her self, she compensated a free mini bar service but we negotiated a breakfast instead as AC was not working.

No AC situation in our room was left unattended; the staff was totally unresponsive and unhelpful. Stay away from this property.

The hotel is located in a relatively convenient location. You have to walk a couple of blocks to get to food or attractions. When you walk somewhere, you go through a commercial district, featuring mechanics’ shops. We also encountered the church close by giving out free bags of food one night. The line stretched out at least a block. The breakfast was nice to have but it didn’t have any variety day to day. The air conditioning was not working but we were not told that until the day we checked out. There was never an offer of a fan or anything. The room and bathroom were a nice size and we had plenty of space to put our suitcases. Both the room and bathroom appeared to be clean on the surface but I noticed a lot of grimy buildup around the toilet and baseboards.

Their ac was broken the entire time

La habitación estaba limpia, pero el hotel completo no tenía A/C estaba dañado y cuando preguntamos indicaron que lo iban arreglar dentro de una semana. El ruido en las habitaciones de arriba era demasiado tanto así que uno se levantaba en la madrugada por el ruido. No recomiendo este lugar.

It is more like a motel but not a three star hotel as published. The Air conditioning / ventilation system was broken in our room during our stay at hotel Glories. No elevators for the rooms assigned and the window lock was broken for the ground floor room that has the outdoor patio just outside of the window. There were only one receptionist during night time who also worked as a housekeeper therefore we had to go to the reception desk to take a clean blanket as the blankets in the room were dirty. It took us about three hours to get rooms that are safe enough for us to stay.

Everything looks very good for tree star hotel only the price is little high.

Room was clean, staff were pleasant, not far from Sagrada Família. Sadly aircon wasn’t working, and although we were offered the minibar for free, it meant a very hot and unpleasant night sleep. Pre-book-in meant I was charged city tax for my 14yo; was assured this would be refunded on checking-out but this wasn’t done.

The hotel overall was very good though very bare minimum , I found out that they don’t use A/C till summer like June , we had to open window to get fresh air, our rooms were pretty big for European standards but the windows were facing the street and the main road is very busy and loud ! The housekeeping service very good !Breakfast was good ,delicious coffee , enough choices very convenient, there is not a lot of places to eat on the block but little farther out yes , close metro stations to get everywhere, very helpful desk , spacious lobby with chairs to hang out .

The location of the hotel is superb it's less than 10 minutes walk to Sagrada Familiar, the farmers market which is excellent idea for food. The hotel is a bit older, but very well taken care of, rooms are a bit smaller size for the value of the money which was expected. The staff was amazing, cheerful and welcoming and extremely helpful all the time..

The hotel property is nice and close to Sagrada Familia and the museum — walkable to most attractions. However, my room was too hot with no air-conditioning, so I couldn't sleep properly for three nights.

Basic hotel room. Bathroom floor was kind of gross. Shower had good water pressure. No full length mirror in room. No fridge or coffee maker. Perfect location and close to attractions and metro.

During pre-reservation/check-in they almost additionally charge us thousands AGAIN to “book” our reservation, when we already booked and paid thousands on Expedia months before. Had to get on a call with Expedia to sort everything out and turns out it was a mistake on their end. However the hotel ended up reaching out and clarified things. Also had ants in our room that would crawl on the tables, cabinets, and bed. Room was smaller than expected and walls are thin. There is construction outside but we were facing the courtyard so didn’t hear much. On the upsides, staff were very helpful and kind. Helped us luggage storage since we got here in the morning. Very knowledgeable and friendly! Location is fantastic and near most attractions within a train ride or walk away. Honestly the best part of the trip. Better staying at a hostel for the price though. Honestly a stressful experience, disappointing, and frustrating overall. However location, staff, and transportation convenience makes up for everything.

Our stay at Hotel Glories was great, Fred at the front desk was so helpful and kind. I do wish the bed was softer it was very firm.
