Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean room.

We travelled in July and had a bad experience with the hotel . Front desk was rude told us not to flood the bathroom and use the curtains properly . Also that not to cook food in the kettle. That was insulting . We had to sign a form to that effect . When we looked at the room it had an odor to it and we decided to check outright away so as not to aggravate our child’s allergies. It was a booking for 3 nights and since it was a no cancellation after a certain date did not get a refund even for one day .

We booked this room because the website stated it would have four twin beds, and we paid extra based on that information. I had the option of booking an Airbnb that was 30–35% cheaper (although it didn't include breakfast), but I chose this hotel because I expected the room to match the advertised setup and amenities. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the room only had three actual twin beds. The fourth "bed" was not a twin bed and was very uncomfortable. One person in our group barely slept because it wasn't a proper bed. We spoke with the front desk, and Tanya listened to our concerns and genuinely tried to help, but unfortunately there wasn't a solution. It seemed the room simply wasn't designed to accommodate four twin beds as advertised. Another downside was the poor sound insulation. We could clearly hear people walking in the room above us, as well as noise from outside, which made it difficult to fully relax. Overall, we still had a good stay. Breakfast was very good. However, for the price we paid, the room did not match what was advertised, and the lack of soundproofing was disappointing. If you're paying a premium and are planning a family trip, I would recommend considering other accommodations.

Beautiful experience. The bus stop was just outside the hotel. Breakfast had some nice gravy like chickpea/ beans with rice option Loved the Thai curry too

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Close to the west train station but walkable distance to the ost train station. A little outdated but like plenty of hotels in Switzerland.

Bathroom lacking a fan. Very nice breakfast and tea time offerings. A 7 minute walk from Interlaken West station, although most trains to mountain towns leave from Interlaken Ost. Good wifi service.

The hotel is not very close to Interlaken Ost station, which is the main station connecting most trains for excursions. However, it is a good option if you are looking for a quiet place to stay. In my opinion, the price does not match the quality of the hotel. It is an older hotel that has been renovated superficially to make it look more modern. The Portuguese woman working at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very limited and of poor quality, especially considering the price of the hotel.

The hotel is quite old. Breakfast is limited with very little variety. The rooms get very hot and the air conditioning doesn't cool at all. The hotel is not very central to anything because most of the main attractions and excursions are in Interlaken Ost. The bathroom is so small you can't even move with the shower curtain behind you. Horrible and hot. The staff is very kind, especially the Portuguese girl at reception. Now I have to warn everyone: The price you see on Expedia is NOT the actual price you pay - it's much more. What we thought would be $1314 USD ended up being $1620 USD because the reservation was to be paid in Swiss francs. On top of that, add the foreign transaction fee my credit card charged me, which was $48 more. In short, for me this was a total scam by Expedia and the hotel. They charged me an absurd amount of money for three nights at a run-down hotel. Expedia showed USD but the charge was in CHF, and the hotel didn't clarify this at check-in.
