It's highly recommended. Even though the hotel is almost 200 years old, it is all clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. At 2-6 o'clock they serve hot chocolate, coffee, and cake. When we first came, it was 6:15, actually it's close to closing time, but they let us drink. Thank you Alexandra and John. I will recommend it to my friends and I will be back.

Tivemos uma ótima estadia. Logo no check in recebemos um upgrade para um quarto bastante amplo e com vista para as montanhas (Jungfrau). Camas confortáveis. Café da manhã muito bom. Hotel bem localizado. Staff muito prestativo e educado. Guardaram nossas bagagens após o checkout. A única sugestão é que instalem black outs nas janelas, pois no verão amanhece muito cedo e o quarto fica muito claro. Certamente voltaríamos!

We travelled in July and had a bad experience with the hotel . Front desk was rude told us not to flood the bathroom and use the curtains properly . Also that not to cook food in the kettle. That was insulting . We had to sign a form to that effect . When we looked at the room it had an odor to it and we decided to check outright away so as not to aggravate our child’s allergies. It was a booking for 3 nights and since it was a no cancellation after a certain date did not get a refund even for one day .

We booked this room because the website stated it would have four twin beds, and we paid extra based on that information. I had the option of booking an Airbnb that was 30–35% cheaper (although it didn't include breakfast), but I chose this hotel because I expected the room to match the advertised setup and amenities.
Unfortunately, when we arrived, the room only had three actual twin beds. The fourth "bed" was not a twin bed and was very uncomfortable. One person in our group barely slept because it wasn't a proper bed.
We spoke with the front desk, and Tanya listened to our concerns and genuinely tried to help, but unfortunately there wasn't a solution. It seemed the room simply wasn't designed to accommodate four twin beds as advertised.
Another downside was the poor sound insulation. We could clearly hear people walking in the room above us, as well as noise from outside, which made it difficult to fully relax.
Overall, we still had a good stay. Breakfast was very good. However, for the price we paid, the room did not match what was advertised, and the lack of soundproofing was disappointing. If you're paying a premium and are planning a family trip, I would recommend considering other accommodations.

Bathroom lacking a fan. Very nice breakfast and tea time offerings. A 7 minute walk from Interlaken West station, although most trains to mountain towns leave from Interlaken Ost. Good wifi service.
