Was very nice, water temp fluctuated.

Would love for their to be a hot tub/spa, but overall the facilities were good and we had a good time.

Excellent location, love that the pool is heated. Very easy walk to beach, walking track, playground, downstairs pub/restaurant. Only a few mins drive to local Coles. Already planning next trip back with the family.

Very clean room staff very friendly

The property was average. We booked a room with a pool & ocean view, only to find the furniture in the room was situated to look away from the pool view. There was nothing unique or especially outstanding about the property. It was quite tired looking. Best feature: It's just a walk through the trees to pristine beaches.

Room was clean the staff were excellent room was small triangle shaped room, rusty components but all in all not to bad.

The room was facing the ocean and the magnificent view was beyond words. However our room was in a state of advanced disrepair and lack of maintenance which included- a very large crack in the mirror behind the bed , a number of cracked bathroom tiles and a general need of some loving care. Certainly not good enough especially at such top rate prices!

The incorrect room was given to us with no others available. The room was tiny and dirty. Very outdated and due for renovation. Won't be back

Perfect spot, right on the beach with surf life guards. Airport 8 min away. Plenty of options for food dining, from the bistro downstairs to takeaway across the road. Room I had on 5th floor had airport and beach views. Room was basic, lacked maintenance and cleanliness (dust on skirting boards and rubbish left under the curtain) Weird, no bed side lamps = no power plugs either. I have sleep apnea and needed somewhere to plug the machine into. Went to reception and got an extension lead. Not an issue just bizarre having no plugs beside the bed.

Great stay.

Bed was comfortable. Room was not as clean as it could be. Light from the common areas was a problem and remained on all night. Curtains were not able to keep all light out which made for a poor sleep. The restaurant was really good and the wait staff were all lovely.

I’d like to start by saying the staff are great! This is the reason I’ve given any stars and its location to the beach (I didn’t go but it was close and great view). Now for the actual room, do yourself a favour and book elsewhere. This place is a $99 Motel with a view and close proximity to the beach. It has no business charging anymore than that let alone the $190 I paid for my ocean view room! The room was disgusting, blood on the bathroom door jam, hairs on the bathroom wall (not mine), peeling panels, ripped dirty curtains, the other curtain with gross smegma on it, no side lamps, carpet felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, walls looked like mould was growing on it. I made sure to check the bed sheets before lying in bed, luckily for me the sheets and towels were clean! Do better! When you’re taking people’s money, you need to do better!

Room was comfy enough with distant water views when lying in bed but when sitting on verandah looked out to a massive white wall and massive white tiled plain verandah. Restaurant was great though and a very close walk to the beach.

I only had the hotel room, which was still okay. The toilet seemed to have a air leak but turning off the water solved that. The biggest thing I didn't like was the lack of sound deadening between the floors as you could hear footsteps from the floor above and people next doorr. The tv channels were difficult to navigate for free to air, but it was no big deal. The facility is ageing and my above comments isn't the fault of staff or anything. As for the positives, the pool was lovely, the cleanliness was lovely and having the beach close by to walk to was amazing.

Very well positioned, right on the beach, but the rooms and balconies are very dated and tired.

Wifi for gamers was excellent

Bathroom was disgusting. Mould around shower screen and soap scum in the shower soap holder. Room carpet was covered in stains. Staff were generally very nice and polite

Generally we loved our two night stay in the Deluxe Ocean View Hotel Room. The good: Pool - The pool area is so lovely and well kept. We didn’t get to swim, but we sat on sun lounges and enjoyed the people watching and the sun. The pool is heated and others seemed to be enjoying the water. Staff - all the staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Location - 1min walk to the beach was great! The 4min walk to cafes across the road was perfect. We drove north to the surf club night 1 and south to an Italian restaurant night 2. Both were close and easy to get to. The view from our balcony was spectacular and really made the trip. Parking - loved the free onsite parking. We stayed on a Thu and Fri night so didn’t have an issue finding a park. Spa - Soul Ocean Spa is located next to the pool. We booked in for some treatments and it was possibly the best massage I’ve ever had. We loved being able to just walk back to our room afterwards and not have to drive and lose all our relaxation in the traffic. Bad: The room really wasn’t clean enough. I had to use wipes to clean the glass top of the bedside table which had sticky smudges on it, and so did the bathroom vanity. Which made me wary about how clean the rest of the room was, so we cleaned other surfaces too. The toilet wasn’t flushing properly and on the last night it leaked from the large waste pipe at the back which went all over the tiles. But I will still give it 8/10 and would go back again!
