We stayed here for 3 nights in July 2026, in the new tower. Updated and freshly rennovated room at a historic hotel. Our suite had 3 huge windows with amazing views of the St. Lawrence. The restaurant with the deck over looking the St. Lawrence was lovely. We would happily stay here again!!! You can’t go wrong.

Les chambres sont bien, nous étions dans la nouvelle partie. Nous avions demandé vue fleuve, nous voyons le fleuve par contre il y avait de la machinerie lourde direct devant notre chambre. Lit confortable mais quand nous avions réservé ça disait 2 grand lit double mais ils ont seulement des lit doubles dans les chambres avec deux lits. Le service au restaurant la Marée Haute à l’heure du souper n’est vraiment pas bon. Si vous y allez pour un apéro vers 16h00- 17h00 c’est ok mais aussitôt qu’il commence à y avoir plus de monde ça devient difficile. Nous y sommes allés pour le souper vers 18h30. Commandé 2 bières et un apéros spritz. Les bières sont arrivées rapidement mais pour mon verre, il a fallu le demander 3 fois, arrivé après 30 minutes d’attente. Pour la bouteille de vin c’est la même chose. Nos plats sont arrivés après 45 minutes-1 heure d’attente. Moule trop cuites, sèches, smoked meat pain du dessus tout sèché et tranche en dessous détrempée. La serveuse nous dit que les plats sont peut-être restés trop longtemps sur le passe plat. Il faut savoir que la cuisine est un étage plus bas. Il y a énormément de choix sur le menu. Les gens à côté de nous ont pris la queue de homard,elle était vraiment trop cuite, impossible de la sortir de sa coquille. Ils ont fait le commentaire à la serveuse très poliment et celle-ci leur a dit de rester poli avec la serveuse! Je retournerais si c’est seulement pour dormir mais pas pour manger.

La vue de notre chambre était incroyable. J'ai bien aimé le cachet de cet hôtel. La proximité avec le parc des pionniers nous a permis de prendre une marche au couché du soleil. Le bain/douche devrait être changer. Il est vieux, usé , tâché et sale. Il s'agit d'un bain tourbillon mais des morceaux sont cassés. Le restaurant propose un bon choix de petit déjeuner. La terrasse est magnifique et que dire de la vue.

Aucun ménage fait pendant la semaine entière. Pas de cotons-tiges à notre disposition. Un détail, mais bon … Service hyper lent au déjeuner (non inclus dans le prix de la chambre ) plus de 30 minutes avant d’avoir enfin un café! La crème est arrivée 10 minutes plus tard Ensuite (plus de 45 minutes) avant qu’on daigne enfin prendre ma commande! Non non , la salle n’était pas bondée! Et la coupe de salade de fruits… 4 petits morceaux de cantaloup et 4 autres d’une autre melon dans un contenant de la grosseur d’un pot de nourriture pour bébé … Et pour finir, pas de salutations à l’arrivée ou à la sortie des gens. Donc, nettement « over rated »!!!

Pour ma deuxième fois à cette établissement j’ai été déçu de la propreté de la chambre on aurait dit vite vite de là poussière, on pouvait pas partir le ventilateur de plafond trop de poussière juste info il est brun mais le dessus presque gris de poussière. L’unité murale aussi aurait besoin d’un nettoyage. Pas toutes les Lumières fonctionnelles. Pour ce qui est du personnel très courtois et aimables. Le stationnement aucun souci.
