ibis Rotherham East - (M18 - M1)

Staff were great. Good location but condition and smell of room really wasnt pleasent. Power sockets and shower broken .

Stayed in room 312 and didnt like the fact every one who was drunk from 12pm till 2pm knocked on our door as soon as theh got of the lift.

Pretty basic and tired looking in places. Breakfast was very poor and not worth the money.

The staff at the IBIS were brilliant really friendly made you feel very welcome and the lobby area very clean smart decent smell about it. It’s after getting in the lift to the second floor as soon as you got out of the lift the smell of stale smoke. was horrendous I went to my room. I had a problem with the key but I always do so I have to fiddling about a bit. I finally got in the room was made up of two single beds with two clean bins there was cups that had coffee stains or tea stains round them very dirty. The room was filthy about a new. I only had one night to stay so there’s no good making a fuss cause I couldn’t get home. I needed to stay ready for my meeting on Sunday. I had to leave the room early the next morning I planned on leaving at 9:30 am but I had to leave wrong before because of the stench it just made me feel so sick and before my meeting started I ended up sitting in my car for an hour. The thing was the smell of stale smoke was in every bit of the room. I stayed in 201 I’d say the shower room was the worst for the smell of stale smoke it reminded me actually of being back in the 1980s when people could smoke in pubs and they always left that horrible smell

The staff on the front desk were welcoming and asked for my car park to be added and what my room number was. The room was okay, did have a mark on the wall next to the bed but it didn't really affect the use of my stay just was unsightly. Good value room for the money paid but the bed was a little uncomfortable for me.

our bathroom toilet was not working waste was comeing back during the night and no mater how many times you flush it did not clear room 103.

Absoulute disgrace, the pull out sofa bed was filthy (luckily we had spare towels) bathroom mouldy, tv remote not working adequately bed very itchy due to

Only stayed 1 night as we we're at a concert. Easy check in, staff were pleasant enough, no issues

The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. The bar could do with a bit of work and stock but for the price, can’t complain.

What you get for the price you pay is unbelievably good breakfast 06:30 free car park tea /coffee in the room which is why I returned again

Not a bad looking hotel on the outside. Reception / lobby and breakfast bar area also reasonable. Communal landings and rooms quite shabby though. Good size bathrooms however. Staff very inconsistent.

The staff on reception were excellent and the customer service was exemplary compared to other similar hotel chains, friendly and very helpful

Have stayed in this Ibis many times. Warm welcome and quick check in. Room was comfy and clean. Lovely hot shower
