Point A London Paddington

Great location

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Paddington, just steps from the train station, which made getting around London extremely easy. There are numerous restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores within walking distance, adding to the convenience of the location. My room was situated near a window and offered a pleasant view; however, due to the hotel's central location, there was a fair amount of street activity, which could be noisy at times. One disappointment was that the continental breakfast was not available with my reservation because I booked through Expedia rather than directly with the hotel. The breakfast, particularly the vegan options, was one of the primary reasons I selected this property. While that was unfortunate, the overall experience was positive, and I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel was in a good area! Staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean. The bed was unfortunately very firm and uncomfortable. The walls were very thin so you could hear the people next door moving things around and walking. The bathroom was quite small, you can barely fit if you’re a “normal adult”.

All was really lovely aside from having to switch rooms because my luggage couldn’t be carried up/down stairs. The staff were very helpful and switched it to another room where I could wheel the luggage myself.

Budget and basic. Air con was good as was Location. However lacks comfort in the rooms, shower not great, very cramped for two people. Beds quite hard and no extra pillows or towels provided.

Decent space. Rooms were small (typical for London) but air conditioning worked well. Wifi was good. Beds were comfortable. Stayed for 5 nights and not much to complain about. Lobby was always manned so never a concern about security. They only clean your room every 3 nights which is okay unless you accumulate a lot of garbage. You can hear some minor underground noise every few minutes but it is a low rumble... nothing that bothered us but if you are sensitive to that, it could be an issue. Bring your own bath toiletries unless you dont mind a hand, body and hair wash in 1. Great location near two underground stations and a lot of bus options to central london. Close to the canal which was a nice area to walk around. Only about a 15 minute walk to Hyde park and you could walk to Oxford street if physically doable.

Staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The room was clean but so small! We’d booked a “cozy” room with a window but we are not large people and even unpacking entailed contortions, the space was so small. Also had to go down/up half a staircase to reach our room/the elevator, not fun with our luggage.

Great location and quiet room

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room clean enough, some dirt on the floor here and there. Conveniently located near multiple stations and bus stops. Laundromat nearby. Will hear street noise, emergency vehicles and trains especially if your room is on the street side. Air conditioning was very effective during the heat wave!

Very pleasant. Cozy. Quiet. Perfect for me

The hotel itself was nice and modern, staff were friendly. Room was tiny but okay for a couple of nights. However, our room was on the basement level and the tube ran constantly right below us. It was very loud in the room which would’ve been incredibly disruptive if we were light sleepers. I don’t think this was disclosed anywhere on the booking…bring ear plugs!

Amazing location for Tube access generally but also for Paddington Station. Staff was very polite and helpful with any questions. Amenities were limited, which was fine, because who spends much time in their hotel in London anyway? I also liked the room layout, even if a bit small, and the lighting options were fun. My only complaint was that the hotel charges guests to store bags before check-in or after check-out. My arrival and departure this time did not require baggage storage, but this ridiculous charge would automatically eliminate this hotel for me in the future if I had flights getting in too early to check-in or departing so late that I needed to store bags.

Nice hotel, good location, and good design. Downside was very small room - more than one night and you'd start to feel claustrophobic.
