Royal National Hotel

I loved the stay, it was summertime so I wish there is air conditioning in the room. The staff had provided a fan which really helped.

The price was definitely a huge selling point but given the really reasonable price we were surprised with how lovely the triple room actually was. It was clean, modern and had everything we could need. If I had to find one suggestion for improvement, it would be that triple-glazed windows need to be fitted as the noise from the street is very loud throughout the night but they are clearly aware of this issue and, as standard, issue fantastic earplugs that worked perfectly for me. The bathroom was small with a shower only as expected but fit our needs perfectly for our short stay in London to visit art galleries and art exhibitions for my daughter’s art studies. We were central for visiting art institutions and a short walk from Euston so an ideal location. When we arrived, we were checked in by the manager who was so lovely and helpful, thoughtful about access and needs (my daughter is an ambulatory wheelchair user) and not at all patronising to my daughter. We are breakfast both days which was lovely and although the restaurant is very busy at times, it is ran so efficiently that we barely needed to wait and the food seemed to be regularly refreshed. A wonderful stay, thank you!

For the centre of London, this was an excellent choice for the money paid. The staff were very attentive, being able to store luggage was very useful and the bedrooms were as advertised. There was some minor noise through the window but this is the middle of a city and there were complimentary ear plugs in the room. It didn’t disturb us.
