The Whately Hall was even better than we expected. The room was large and airy with everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. The evening meal was served by a very polite waitress for whom nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was self service with a choice of continental and a Full English Breakfast with a choice of how you wanted your eggs cooked. Or both if you had enough room. All the staff were exceptionally well mannered and it was clear that they were there to help whenever they were needed. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely positioned hotel, town walking distance with everything you need for an evening out. Great hotel throughout and free and easy parking at the rear of the hotel. Would definitely stay again and thoroughly recommend to others. Thank you to all at the hotel.

Last minute booking, stayed for 3 nights and was not disappointed. Place of character and charm. Check-in staff member was extremely helpful and considerate with view of allocating a room that met the physical disabilities and needs associated of the person accompanying me. Room was large, clean and functional. Stayed during heat wave and a fan was supplied without having to request one. Staff greeted us in the mornings on arrival for breakfast and were accommodating. Handy for all amenities as situated centrally in Banbury Plenty of choice with breakfast. Hotel situated in beautiful grounds, very picturesque. Plenty of car parking which was a necessity when choosing a venue for us. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again

Hotel is in a good location. It is a lovely building with nice gardens. Some areas could do with maintenance but the hotel was very clean. Our room was lovely and big but again some maintenance required. Breakfast was fantastic. Would have liked a fridge in the room to store cold drinks but water was available just by reception. All staff members were lovely

The hotel was clean but under our window of our room a large pile of broken building material. which should have cleared up otherwise the only thing their evening menue rather poor on choice so we went to a Italian less than 30 yards up the road verry good food and came across many of fellow residents from our hotel

The hotel is well situated in the city, with walkable restaurants and a nice large park at the rear. The neighbourhood can get a little rough, with police being called to disturbances on the street outside frequently during our stay. Where the hotel especially fell down was when someone had vomited on the steps of the side entrance, and the staff didn't clean it up at all during our 4 day stay. So we didn't feel that comfortable there as a family, especially during the evenings.

What a lovely old building. Loads of character and good outdoor seating area too. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. I had to ask for soap dispensers to be filled. That should have been checked but they remedied it quickly. I would stay again.
