The location of this hotel is fantastic. It’s close to a lot of restaurants and beach and all the major attractions. It’s also great for shopping groceries bakeries and a lot of specialty coffee shops. I will definitely book it again. I wish the gym is slightly better but other than that, it’s pretty good.

The hotel was in a great location - you could walk to the beach in 5-7 minutes - main shopping strip one block away and the old town a 5 min walk. We had a wonderful stay. However the swimming pool was tiny ! I am a pool person and despite the beautiful beach which I did visit and would have ( even with a big pool ) I was disappointed in the size of it. There were approx 7 Sun loungers round the pool and the rest were on the separate bar terrace . This was a big disappoint for me and for that reason I would not stay here again which is a shame as it is a wonderful hotel .

The hotel currently has lots of bad reviews and I’m not sure why. Our room was clean and whilst could do with being updated was not anything I would mark down for. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. Would return.

Aston La Scala Nice is conveniently located, close to public transport and dining options. It's also walking distance to the Promenade des Anglaise. Location-wise it's great. The rooftop restaurant is also a great place to have a drink or have dinner, watching the sunset. But we were surprised to see that both the hotel's restaurants did not have authentic Nicoise cuisine on offer. The negatives: The rooms are old and small. The air conditioner in our room didn't really cool, and it was uncomfortably hot on a 35C day. The hotel in general doesn't really have 4 star facilities, although it is marketed as such. The bathroom layout is also a bit problematic- the shower is inside the bathtub, with only a partial glass shower screen, and when you shower, water splashes all over the floor, and unless you are careful, you could slip and fall, getting out of the tub.

Staff are very nice, they work with what they have. The hotel is in poor condition even remodeled room were poorly redone, cracks everywhere, some of the people didn’t have hot water. The roof top swimming pool, tiles are moving, you can trip at anytime. Can’t believe this is a 4 stars hotel. Won’t be back to this hotel and won’t recommend it.

Wonderful hotel, excellent location, close to beach, old town, top restaurants and shopping. Roof top pool and bar are amazing. The views are spectacular. Everyone super nice and accommodating. Great choice.
