The hotel rooms are very TINY. We enjoyed staying at this hotel even though this is one of the smallest hotel room we had ever stayed so if you have large suitcases this is not the hotel for you . We really didn't like the area. We stayed in the Latin quarter last visit and liked that area better. The only issue here was that we were unable to get a fresh tissue box on our second day.We stayed 3 nights. Overall this is a nice hotel with nice staff.

Small rooms, friendly staff and nice breakfast

Lovely hotel in a good area near to the canal. The hotel and room had many unique features with stylish decoration. Staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions for sightseeing. Continental breakfast was nice and well presented. Would definitely stay again.

If you are looking for a vibrant nightlife area, this hotel is perfect for you! Close to the metro, shopping, bars and restaurants you can easily find what you are looking for. If you wish a quieter venue, request a room which does not face the main street. The breakfast buffet was excellent, the staff most welcoming and helpful with whatever you may need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this neighborhood and hotel. Un gros merci! Lorraine Ryan

A lovely calm and comfortable hotel in a great location. The staff were wonderful and we were very well looked after. Beds were comfortable, Nuxe products, decent breakfast options. Would recommend and would book again.

The rooms were very small. It was very difficult to get the suitcase out the door. The 24-hour staff was greatly appreciated and very helpful. They spoke English well. No air conditioning until June. At 18 Euros the breakfast wasn't worth it.

Lovely spot, but our room had old shag carpet and the tiniest bathroom. Housekeeping only cleaned the room once during our 4 night stay. Métro was nearby, so we liked that aspect and the staff was very nice.

A wonderful stay at Marais Hôme. The staff was lovely, the property was great, rooms nicely maintained and stocked. I would absolutely recommend it. Walking distance to many big sites and right near Republique metro station making it very easy to get to/from the airport as well as to/from sites that are further away.

The room was infested with bugs. Little bugs everywhere, coming out of the walls. The night front desk worker was very nice and moved us to another room. I would never stay here again.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Marais Home for three nights. The location is fantastic, with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Place de la Republique is a short walk away and has a lively atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. I had forgotten my adaptor and they let me borrow one for the duration of my stay. They had great recommendations for restaurants as well. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe and comfortable. I recommended this hotel highly.

Very good hotel but I did have a hard of finding it as outside was very dark and can hardly see the hotel sign. But I like the hotel very much. I’ll definitely stay there again next time I’m in Paris.

Horrible There was a terrible SEWER smell coming from the bathroom. The sliding bathroom door didn’t work, so I had to cover the shower drain with a towel and the sink drain with an upside-down glass to reduce the smell. The room was very small, with no room to put your suitcase and the carpet was dirty. Avoid at all cost.

This is our second stay in this lovely hotel, don't hesitate to book! Fab location close to the metro, comfy beds, very peaceful and lovely breakfast.

Our stay was exceptional! Very friendly staff, clean rooms, delicious French breakfast, and easy access to Paris and the Marais neighborhood. Many cafes and shops nearby. We would love to come back and stay again!

Great location near Republique Metro, from which it's very easy to get around and transfer to any needed line. Very quiet, with friendly people at the front desk. Nice breakfast, which included a variety of pastries, yogurt, granola, cold cuts, cheeses, scrambled and boiled eggs, juice, and many coffee drinks. We stayed in the Junior Suite, on the top floor, which was spacious for a Paris hotel room. There was coffee, water, and pastry in the lobby all day. The one issue I had with the hotel was the cleaning service. When we arrived, despite the room having just been cleaned, the floor was visibly dusty along the wall and in the corners, and the previous guest had left a takeout food container on our balcony. We told one person at the desk, but it was never taken away. Further, on a daily basis, it was pretty clear that the only "cleaning" that took place was making the beds and replacing the towels. For example, I had accidentally spilled some lotion on the toilet seat, and was in a rush to leave. When we returned to the room later that day, the beds were made, but that lotion drop was still there. Tissues were not replaced when the box was empty. I would still highly recommend this hotel for the location, quiet, breakfast, and front desk staff, but they do need to talk to their cleaning people.
