This was an excellent hotel. The room was exccellent and the property was outstanding. Most importantly the staff was wonderful. Well located between two metro stations, I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN DEFINITELY.

We had a great time at this hotel. The room was very spacious and nice. We requested a quiet room, and the staff were very accommodating—they gave us a room on a higher floor, far from the elevator, and facing a quiet treet. The hotel has a strong Asian aesthetic, which some people might consider a bit dated, but it reflects a style that is appreciated in Asia. The hotel is a 5 star Asian hotel, in America it may be a 4.5 stars. As expected for a five-star hotel, the restaurants are quite expensive. Transportation is nearby, though not extremely close, and the hotel is located some distance from downtown Osaka. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

we paid a little extra for a castle view and it was tha we worth the money. Gorgeous breakfast was good. I wouldn’t say amazing. the beds a little hard. You can’t adjust the temperature in the room and it does get rather warm so I recommend opening the window. The best part was the proximity to the castle.

Amazing property in lovely castle location very close to the station. The staff were fantastic and very interested in making sure we were having a great time at the hotel. We did not eat there nor did we have coffee because the prices were extremely high. But that’s to be expected at a hotel at this caliber. The only thing I would suggest they change is there is no option for having your room made up, but the towels left behind. We are happy to reuse our towel towels. Conversely, they have an option for not having your room made up and having all the towels replaced. I think it should be the other way around for the environment.

Our New Otani stay was comfortable and memorable. The staff is wonderful and welcoming. The front staff spoke perfect English making it easy for us to express any needs or have questions answered. Although we were in an older portion of the New Otani (renovations were being conducted), the room was spacious and well appointment for our stay. The view from our room included a clear view of Osaka Castle' which is a 10 minute walk away. We would definitely stay at The New Otani when we're in Osaka.
