Dreams Jade Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

Very relaxing…really liked the preferred option!

Everything was AMAZING!! The staff are extremely friendly and always very helpful. The resort is beautiful and elegant, definitely top notch. The food was great. Our favorite restaurant was Spice. The beach was a little rocky with some seaweed but nothing to complain about. We find a section that was Crystal clear. Absolutely beautiful. The pool area was always fun and full of different activities. There was always something to do all over the resort from morning to night!! We had an ocean view junior suite and received a free upgrade to the Preferred side with a hot tub right on our balcony with a gorgeous view of both the pool and the ocean!! The room was really beautiful and comfortable. Very spacious and very clean. We give this resort a 10/10!! We will definitely be returning!!

The food was just very average and the beach was rocky and our shower didn’t work properly for 3 days

We came for my brother’s wedding and it was a terrible experience. Room was dirty! and I paid extra to check in early! Food mediocre at best. Spice was the best restaurant, and thats not saying much. Check in staff and spa front desk staff were rude, disorganized and unwelcoming. They talk down to you when you complain. Never really did anything to make it better. When I thought they would it was ploy to go sit down at a brunch for a timeshare oh sorry, “preferred club.” Felt discriminated because I was Mexican-American and not their usual tourist type. Line staff were great! Drinks okay, not really all inclusive, not all top shelf stuff included. Always trying to up-sale you!

Pros: -Heated main pool, overall pool space and chairs were generally available -Saul and the entertainment crew were awesome -Property layout and amenities were amazing Cons: -The food at the restaurants was just OK. They didn't have a lot of options and everything was very salty. Also...no tacos or taco bar!! -The nightly shows were not great with the exception of the fire show. -Poolside music was not great (except when the entertainment staff was doing an activity) Pools- the non-preferred area had 3 pools plus a wading pool. The pools were a decent size and one had a swim up bar. Ideally these would have been all connected as they were all right next to each other. Pools seats were generally available, even if you didn't wake up at dawn to save seats. Food- The poolside grill was limited with burgers, hot dogs, chicken wings, and occasionally a quesadilla as well as chips and guac/salsa. The other lunch option served pizza and some seafood dishes, but not a rotating menu like I would have expected. The buffet was very standard, the only issue here was if you wanted eggs/omelets in the AM it took forever! The dinner restaurant options were Mediterranean (didn't eat here), Asian/Hibachi which was our favorite. We did both options, Luis was our grill master and did an awesome job and the menu options were all great. Italian was okay, everything was very salty, but the risotto balls were pretty good! [Traveled in March 2025] The property itself is, for the most part, immaculately kept. The restaurants are fantastic (save for the Asian restaurant) and the cold brew is strong (enjoyed getting some every morning at the buffet). The cocktails and drinks in the preferred club were notably stronger than other areas of the resort. The bar grill by the pool served fantastic wings (coming from somebody that loves hot wings and is picky). For the most part, the staff is exceptional and attentive. The masseuses at the spa were phenomenal! Cons: Room furniture was outdated, and the rooms have steps (is a problem with kids and/ or if you’ve had some drinks in you). The beach is small and on the rockier side. Ran into a couple of rude staff, and had to demand to not be waited by one in particular. Additionally had room service come and open the door to our room at 10 PM without knocking (it seems a late “turn down” service is to be expected, but this particular employee did not follow the 3x knocking protocol). Reported this to the front desk and they were apologetic and extremely mindful for the rest of our stay. Overall Experience: 7.5/10. We would return even with the cons as described above. Property was beautiful, drinks/food/ coffee was fantastic, and staff is great for the most part.

The property was beautiful and expansive. The variety of restaurants and the food was excellent. The beach was nice with easy access to the ocean for swimming. The push for membership was heavy and the “hard sell” was off-putting.

Me and my husband just returned from our honeymoon there and absolutely loved it! Very impressed and happy with the amount of restaurants and variety of food options (even just within the buffet itself!) We loved the hibachi experience at Spice- our chef was hilarious and put on a great show! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the preferred club and loved our tub on the balcony and adults only pool. The pool, beach, and ocean were all so great and just steps from each other! Our room was spacious, pretty, and comfy and the daily housekeeping was always great. We did a spa day at the resort and did a couples massage where we had great service as well. The resort seems to offer plenty of activities and entertainment and is very family friendly but our happy place was at the pool and our private tub at night :) We already miss the pool and all the food! We will definitely be back! Thank you for an incredible honeymoon. {Personally my biggest complaint/disappointment was not finding many options in the gift shop that had the resort name/logo on it. There was some hats and quite a few men’s shirts with the name, but I was hoping to find a cute women’s tank top or sweatshirt or even a magnet.}

There were good things and bad things about Dreams Jade. The good things were: The staff was always friendly. The Spa was absolutely gorgeous. The kids Explorers club was great. My daughter really enjoyed spending time there and asked to go there even when we didn't have anything else to do. Being right next to the place where you can swim with Dolphins was nice. It was nice being at an all-inclusive resort where we didn't have to worry about where to go eat or even the logistics of all eating together. People could just eat when they wanted. The food at the French restaurant and the Mediterranean restaurant was fabulous. The bad things were: The service at the sit down restaurants was always friendly, but always terribly, terribly slow. If you're the sort of person who likes to sit down and talk and drink for a couple hours, it would be fine, but slow service at a restaurant is a personal pet peeve of mine, and I hate feeling like I'm wasting time just sitting there for 10 minutes waiting for the menus, and sitting there for 20 minutes waiting for someone to take our order, and sitting there for a half hour waiting for the food. We never got in and out in less than an hour and 20 minutes, and that's without having to wait for a bill or to pay a bill. The quality of the food was mixed. We had dishes at some of the restaurants that were borderline terrible, like worse than a bad Denny's dinner. The buffet food was generally lower quality buffet food.

Beautiful property with great staff. It was a very nice trip.

Pay $800/day to wait in line everywhere, have rude staff, rooms not ready at check in, rooms different than what was booked. Go elsewhere. Very poor experience. They don't take reservations for restaurants, can't provide accurate wait times, you're pretty much stuck eating two star resort slop unless you luck out at one of the a la carte restaurants.

Liked everything, what i didnt like was Amstar “service”. Amstar transportation was great, but the fact that at the airport they tell you , you can have $400 spa credit if you join us for VIP breakfast, then you end up in a “sales presentation “ for hour and a half, thats not right

Resort was perfect. Plenty of beach and poolside chairs. Suhjei was amazing and so friendly and fun. We enjoyed Zumba, mojito, pool games and the bonfire. The bonfire was probably our favorite with Amara and Suhjei. We had a group of 8 and all enjoyed the resort!
