Everything was great except the check-in and check-out experience. Incorrect charges on the bill that took forever to solve when we had to get out to the airport. Other than that everything was as expected for a hotel of this standard.

One of the best hotels as usual. Expect nothing less from Shangri-La. Feedback from last visit on how to improve security was taken onboard and implemented. Breakfast was also great. Only thing is the choice is mostly same which over 3-4 days may get a little boring. Admittedly, breakfast is less impressive than the other Shangri-La hotels in the region. Only true negative is rooms are a little outdated. But as long as you love what you has 5-10 years ago, then expect the room to be the same. But don’t let this deter you. It’s still a lovely hotel and one that never fails to deliver, especially on service.

Older hotel but great service and walking distance to Greenbelt shopping

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. Our flight from Vancouver (YVR) arrived very early—around 5:00 AM—and we headed straight to the hotel. The Shangri-La staff went above and beyond, graciously checking us into our room by 10:00 AM, which was such a blessing after a long flight. While we waited, they offered us access to the change rooms so we could freshen up and change—such a thoughtful touch. Our room featured a stunning view of the city and was spotless, beautifully decorated, and surprisingly spacious. We chose to include breakfast with our stay, and it turned out to be the best decision—no exaggeration, the breakfast buffet was expansive and filled with the most delicious options! We truly felt spoiled staying at the Shangri-La and are so glad we chose it. We’ll definitely be back one day. Bonus tip: If you’re visiting on a Sunday, the main roads close down in the morning for pedestrians—you can run, walk, or bike through the city. It’s such a unique and fun experience!

Makati Shangri La was awesome. We ate in the lobby for dinner two nights. Shirlyn took great care of us. She was attentive and friendly. The food was great and the environment with live music and comfortable setting was amazing.

The stay was overall good. I have been using Shang Ari La most times I am in Manila. However, the staff at the Circles restaurant was rude to me a couple of times. They rushed me to pay the bill when I was not done eating yet, sometimes when I just sat down after obtaining food from the buffet
