This hotel is in an old building. I’ve stayed in many old building hotels, but this one was just badly maintained. The bathroom looked institutional, the rooms had broken fixtures, and they told us not to use the AC. I think they paid more attention to the lobby than any other area. Would not recommend staying here.

It is an old property. We almost fry at night be cause there was not AC and the room was very hot. Bathroom shower wouldn’t drain. I don’t recommend this hotel

Upon arrival, we got to our double room and I was surprised how small the room was, but it suited our needs as we didn’t plan on spending much time in the room, but rather exploring. The bathroom was nice with a powerful blow dryer! The bed was surprisingly comfortable and I’m typically picky. Be aware though, there was no air conditioner and the room was very stuffy, end of April. You will need to use windows. We did not eat breakfast there but did have coffee, which we were charged for. 9 CHF for 2 coffees! The staff was good but not overly helpful or friendly! Finally, we thought the location was very great! Close to most things and a very close walk to the main train station. Overall, we had a lovely time and the hotel was pretty good and very quiet!

This hotel is very nice, is in old Town so the side walk are brick which is a little bit of a pain to drag your luggage over. And it is about a 20 minute walk from the train station. Also there is a church near by that rings it's bells every 15 minutes. This is no A/C but our second room did have a fan. The first room we had the shower didn't drain properly and it started flooding the bathroom floor. The second room wasn't any better. You to wet yourself down turn off the water soap yourself up Turn the water back on to ren

No AC to help mask the noise, and the church bell ringing all night kept me awake, but perfect little room with tea kettle and everything you need. Great location just 7 minutes walk to the station and near tons of restaurants and stores.
