Caesar Park Hotel Taipei

This hotel is rated as a 5-star hotel, but in my opinion it's more like a 3 star hotel. The only reason I have it 4 stars is because of how conveniently located it is, just directly in front of the Taipei Main Station. The MRT is also directly underneath, and a plethora of really delicious dining places just in the shopping mall underneath. My first impression of the service was checking in. Unlike a 5 star hotel where you are graciously welcomed, the check in counter was busy and the lady seemed annoyed. Compared to the 3-Star hotels I stayed at in Taiwan, this probably had the most mediocre service. This hotel also needs some remodeling. The place seems like it's owned by an old father who refuses to give his hotel to his son. The hall ways are decorated with old wallpapers and long mirrors everywhere. And the gloomy lighting made it feel a bit haunting. On top of that the rooms felt damp & furnished with cheap furnitures. These rooms can definitely use some dehumidifiers, it made the rooms smelly and a bit uncomfortable. There is a gym and a laundry room. The gym has very old equipments so don't expect too much, and the laundry room has only 1 washer and 1 dryer. The hours that it operates is only between 9:00am - 10pm which doesn't make any sense since most people are out and about between these hours. On top of that, trying to share one machine with the entire hotel is almost impossible. But would I stay here again? Yes! It's so convenient with MRT & Airport MRT.

Hotel is in great location for public transport. Right in the centre. Can get to places you want around Taipei. But Hotel facility wise, its average if you were thinking about staying in "5 stars hotel"

部屋はとても綺麗で静かでした。水回りも清潔感があり使いやすくて期待以上でした。台北駅出口のすぐ近くで、移動にも便利です。一階にはファミリーマートや来好というお土産屋さんがあります。周辺は飲食店もたくさんあります。また泊まりたいなと思いました。

Very convenient location, right in front of Taipei Main station where you can easily connect to every direction of the city. Clean room, friendly staff.

Very convenient to Taipei metro and lots of food options nearby. Customer service is ok but they shall smile more. The only problem is the bed is a bit hard.

Not even close to a 5 star hotel. Your VIP status means nothing hear. I asked for an upgrade and they lied and told me it was upgraded. Rooms were mediocre but do the job. It is in a good location though so there is that. If you need an extended checkout, it will cost you more than booking a room.

Nice hotel with direct access underground from Taipei Main Station. Remodeled rooms but poor workmanship. Only one place to charge your phone and it can only be used with the lights on.

The hotel really shows its age. The check in staff was never friendly. The bellmen were really nice.
