This is the best hotel I have stayed. Excellent value. The staff are ever ready to help and cheerful, always smiling. The room was clean and maintained twice daily. The food in the restaurant was excellent quality and tasty. The breakfast has a lot of choices. Everything was great and I will definitely stay here again if revisiting Cape Town

Exceptional Service at the Taj Cape Town-
I recently stayed at the Taj Cape Town and was truly impressed by the outstanding level of service. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We were welcomed with complimentary champagne, and our room felt more like a private suite—spacious, beautifully appointed, and exceptionally comfortable.
The in-room service was prompt and thoughtful. Whether it was requesting extra tea bags, a tea pot, laundry bags, or any other small needs, the staff handled everything with efficiency and a smile. They even assisted us with arranging laundry services from nearby vendors, which was a great help.
The on-site restaurants, bars, and amenities were all top-notch. Every interaction with the hotel team—concierge, housekeeping, restaurant staff—was warm, courteous, and professional. I’ve stayed at many luxury hotels around the world, but the personalized service here truly stood out as one of the best I’ve experienced.
While the immediate neighborhood around the hotel did not feel particularly clean or safe, and the presence of many street vendors was a bit unexpected for this part of the city, the hotel itself remained a calm and secure haven. The excellent service more than made up for any concerns about the surrounding area.

The stay at Taj was just amazing. The staff were so friendly, felt like home. The facilities, services, food, ambience, top notch! Really loved the idols (lord idols) at the entrance as the decor😍
The indoor pool was heated, and fun given the rainy condition during the stay.
Location is really good, with pretty streets at a walking distance.
Masala tea in the morning was cherry on top.
Would definitely come again!
