Beautiful high floor room with a stupendous view. Just what we hoped for. Our ONLY complaint but sort of a big one in this day and age. Barely any outlets in the room for charging things etc and none beside the bed at all. VERY unusual, especially for such a high end hotel.

Rooms are lovely - clean and comfortable. Only 2/4 elevators working, causing significant waits at peak times. Arrived late evening with two suitcases and a medical device and was offered no assistance or cart - just pointed direction of lobby, where lobby staff were not welcoming. Morning checkout person was friendlier but did not ask how my stay was.

The deco is dated and two of the elevators were out of service. Room was not made up claiming we left the room late around noon. No notice were given and we made them clean the room eventually with serious confrontations. The duty manager was rude but I stood on the fact I will not stay in the uncleaned room. He offered us two drinks and waited around 45 minutes. It was indeed an unpleasant experience. Otherwise, the staff were all nice.

Check in staff, restaurant staff and and everyone we interacted with were excellent! The location with the views of the harbour are beautiful. The breakfast buffet was also good. We had a couple things with our room that we should mention. Nothing major but we had some water built up on the windowsill. We also found a dirty fork in our room and these are minor issues but do need to be mentioned. Also, we like the outdoor hot tub, but unfortunately the Jets weren’t working so that was a disappointment.

Smelly shower curtain in room ruined the experience. For the price and (supposed) caliber of hotel, it was very disappointing. That plus a crib in our room triggered crying due to childless situation.
